This was a great couple getaway for us. We stayed two nights in the scenery suite and we were happy about the accommodation. Cabin was clean and spacious enough for two persons. Cabin didn’t have TV but that’s something we didn’t miss during our stay. Cabin has a small fireplace and it might be bit challenging for some people to start the fire but we didn’t have any problems. We had dinner in the hotel’s restaurant (fish and reindeer). Restaurant is nice and quiet and it provided privacy as tables are not too close to each other. Big fireplace in one corner is also nice. Reviews seem to mention often that the spa is small but we found it just perfect for us. It might not be best for the families who expect waterslide etc for the kids but atmosphere is suitable for the couples. We had an activity included in our accommodation package and we rented e-bikes for two hours. We had super fun biking to one of the islands and routes nearby hotel. We will definitely return to Järvisydän during the summer. Best thing in during the stay was the genuinely friendly staff who were there when you needed them.

In a quiet lush, green place, a lot of bird singing. To the beach along the road via Syvärannantie-road 300 m, along a path 200 m (way to the path begins along the cottage road from where there are signs to the shore). Neighbors on both sides. Neighbor not visible from the yard.Water in the tap comes from the own well, but it's not suitable for drinking. 37 km west of Savonlinna. Lake Rappusenjärvi 70 m (length 3,5 km, breadth 1,8 km), shallow water, firm bottom. Pier, 2 rowing boats and kayak.In 2021 renovated former farmhouse, kitchen/living room with a sofabed for two, bigger bedroom with a double bed (width 180 cm) and an old pull-out bed (width 70 cm and length 190 cm), bedroom with double bed (width 140 cm), bathroom (shower cubicle and toilet), foyer. Terrace at the beach end of the house.The cottage also has a wood stove and baking oven. Ceramic hob and convection oven.
