Beautiful hotel 4 KM from the Airport. Wonderful and kind management. Rooftops have great views at sunset. Only complaint was bathroom light was automatically on, and very bright, at 3:00 am, was a surprise. The little cafe up the street and to the right has wholesome food. Both are nicely priced.

The courtesy of the staff really stood out to me. Everyone was friendly, helpful and pleasant. It was a refreshing place to stay on my return trip to the United States. From when the moment we got off the plane we were greeted at a holiday inn staff member and helped direct us to our shuttle. Getting off a plane in a foreign country is disorienting, and this was super helpful. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable nights stay, and coffee in the room was a nice way to wake up. I highly recommend this holiday inn.

Hotel Residencial el Viajero more than met our needs for a clean, safe hotel close to the Quito Airport with shuttle service for an evening arrival followed by a super early morning departure. Our host was in the arrivals area holding a card with our name when our flight arrived, even though our flight was several hours late, and we joined a small group of students and teachers also staying at the hotel on the short shuttle ride to the hotel. Our small room was clean and comfortable, with a hot shower, and the next morning our wake-up call was right on time as was our 5:30 am shuttle to the airport (reasonable fee). The folks running this hotel are super nice, and very reliable - highly recommended!

This was truly one of the most amazing places I have ever been. The rooms were very nice and well kept, and the staff were so so friendly. They made us three amazing meals a day - plus two snacks in between - and were always willing to explain new meals to us and to show us fruits we’d never heard of before. The grounds are super nice - there is a small soccer field and a sports court that has a volleyball net and basketball hoops, plus a rec room with ping pong and pool tables, which was so much fun. I desperately hope to be able to go back again :)

The hotel facilities are new, the room has a good view, and the snow-capped mountains can be seen from the large flat windows. The hotel also has a swimming pool and jacuzzi. The service staff is attentive. The free shuttle to and from the airport is also provided. The breakfast is also very hearty and I am satisfied with my stay.

We live fairly close-by but we feel like we are extending our vacation for another night when we stay here.
