Very well located new hotel. Within walking distance to some tourist attractions. Clean room. The room was a bit small. Lack of space for hanging clothes. The current provision of clothes hangers over the toilet bowl is NOT ACCEPTABLE AND Unhygienic. The biggest disappointment was the bed which was ROCK HARD 😭. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE 🥵 This is because the bed is only the base without a mattress on top. ????? Customer service was very good. Special thanks to Mr Han and Ms Zeng for providing great assistance to us.

I booked the hotel based on the good reviews. The recommendation of netizens was right. The hotel is in Sanchao Lane, 200 meters away from West Street and Kaiyuan Temple. You can see the twin towers from the rooftop. The staff are very enthusiastic and helped to carry the luggage to the room upstairs. There were many people in West Street on the weekend before the Spring Festival, but the small alleys in the ancient city gave many unexpected surprises.

I checked in with my daughter and sister from the 20th to the 24th December 2024 and we had a wonderful experience! The hotel is very new, and the 2 rooms are impressively spacious, providing great comfort throughout our stay. The location, though not accessible by large vehicles, is well-served by convenient smaller vehicles called ”xiao bai,” which made getting around a breeze. This thoughtful arrangement added to the charm of the place. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. As someone from Singapore, I was thrilled to find my hometown breakfast featured alongside Quanzhou cuisine. The fusion of flavors was delightful, and we looked forward to it every morning. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with a special mention to Zhuang Zhuang for going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Their warm hospitality truly made us feel at home. The Gucheng Hotel where I stayed this time was the best choice for this trip. The hotel is in a 4A scenic area, quiet and beautiful. This time I stayed in a wide-view double bed, with a balcony and trees spilling into the windowsill. The two 1.5-meter beds were very large, comfortable and soft. The decoration style of the hotel is natural log style, and the terrace on the second floor is very beautiful for taking pictures. The service at the front desk is very enthusiastic, and they will take the initiative to introduce the details of the tour. The cleaning lady will also take the initiative to greet the guests when she sees them. The sanitation is also very clean, which puts a perfect end to this trip.
