Hotels near Lvmeisun Former Residence in Qingdao

I booked a sea view room with my children. I could see the sea and the room was clean and tidy. The puppets in the lobby attracted the children and they had a lot of fun playing. The butlers 8200 and 8489 were also very considerate and gave the children sand digging tools and extra purified water. Overall, I was very satisfied and it is worth recommending. I will book it again for my next trip.

Old shabby hotel catering to visiting local tourists, mainly. If you're a foreigner, the drivers of the cabs waiting outside the Hotel will rip you off 20-30 yuan unless you pay attention to the meter and immediately yell at them in case of overcharge. (Almost) noone at the check-in desk speaks English unless you chance on a manager. There're two teenage consierge boys at the main entrance, who boss the incoming patrons around and tell them how to live. The restaurant prices are on a par with those at Shangri-La hotel, but with far fewer choices and lower in cooking quality. The only BIG advantage if you're a swimmer like myself: a former German ”Kaiser” swimming beach is right accross the road. It's now callled ”Bathing Beach 1.” Awesome for doing non-stop laps for an hour. And even then: you can easily get to the beach by metro from any other Qingdao hotel. Just get off at Huiquan Square (Line 3) and come out through Exit C.

The hotel is located in the German Governor's Mansion in Qingdao. The surrounding environment is the most distinctive old city area in Qingdao. It is just a stone's throw away from the Governor's Mansion. Opposite is Longjiang Road, which is known as the Fairy Tale Road. It is about a 10-minute walk from the Christian Church. The old campus of Ocean University is also within easy reach. It is also a 10- to 15-minute walk from the beach. It is very suitable for browsing the scenery of the old city of Qingdao, especially many German-style buildings with a very long history. The hotel's service is also very good. It is also unique. I will choose it again next time I go there.

I personally think, it has the perfect Location. The Women of the Reception was soo friendly and welcoming. The Room is a little bit small so I would not recommend sharing but apart from it, I think it is very comfortable. I have no complaints. This Hotel is 10 out of 10.

An older hotel but well maintained. The location can’t be beat. It’s near all the old town attractions and the pier. Skip the breakfast and buy some nice local breads on the street across the from the park on your way to the church. You should see people lining up.

The location is very convenient, the bus station and subway station are downstairs. Very close to the trestle bridge and Daxue Road. The room was clean and tidy, and the service staff were very polite and welcoming. The little red beauty at the front desk was very thoughtful. The rooftop view on the 12th floor is quite good, overlooking the church and the old town, and the sea view in the distance. Recommended.

It was my first time to book Atour. When I booked, I saw that late night porridge was available. I had already stayed for two days. On the third day, I renewed for another night. When I was checking in at the front desk, I asked if there was late night porridge available. The front desk told me that I could eat breakfast by myself. When I checked in, the front desk staff did not tell me. Not everyone knows. After renewing for one night on the third day, we asked about breakfast. The front desk staff told me that I could have free breakfast for 99 yuan if I became a member. I did it, but I doubted it. Isn't that breakfast available to all customers who have checked in? It is recommended not to book the elegant king-size bed room. The window is outside the exterior wall and you can't see the sun at all. I booked it for about 1,100 a night during the May Day holiday. For the third night, I renewed my stay and booked a wooden king-size bed room. The price was about 570, and the window was not an exterior wall. If it was the usual price of about 570, I would book a wooden king-size bed room. The price-performance ratio is OK. It is not recommended to book the elegant king-size bed room. The breakfast is OK and there are more varieties.

The hotel is not far from Taidong Pedestrian Street, 5-6 minutes walking distance. The facilities are new and the style is modern. You need to swipe the card to go upstairs to check in the room, and the corridor is quiet. The front desk staff is friendly, and the cleaners and we will greet each other.

Amazingly a nice place. Old fashion design but so modern inside. So warm hearted front desk lady, and sweet, and lovely, and you name whatever. This place is right on the walking street, and you can listen to the classic music casting somewhere from the street. This is also so close to many dining spots, and they are typical local and tasty. This place is not with a luxury facade but really worth for it's inside value. All the controls are fashion: lights, fans, curtains, etc. It brings you a feeling that you are back in the old school Tsingtao living in a German style building but meanwhile sleeping in the cozy modern life realistically. I'd like to come here the next time, especially in a summer time.
