Qingdao Yihai Garden Hotel (May Fourth Square)

Because of Qingdao Marathon, I chose to stay at Qingdao Yihai Garden Hotel (May Fourth Square). The location is super good, about five minutes walk from May Fourth Square and MixC, and about ten minutes walk from the starting point of Qingdao Marathon; the environment is super good, the air is fresh, the sea is visible when you open the window, and there are plenty of parking spaces both above and below the ground; the service is super good, the front desk served with a smile throughout the whole process, and when they saw that I brought my child, they also gave me a small gift, which the child loved very much. Next time I come to Qingdao, I will choose this hotel.

The biggest problem of this hotel is that the water is hot and cold when taking a shower. The water is warm, but it often suddenly becomes pure hot water and burns people. I hope it will be improved in the future. The hotel is about 500 meters away from the subway station, in a sanatorium. The instructions are not very clear and I was confused for a while before entering. The overall service level of the hotel is relatively high, at the level of a five-star hotel. Almost all the service staff are good, but when contacting, one person had a big problem. But later the hotel also took some corresponding measures, which made people satisfied. Another point is that the windows of the hotel are too dirty. If you want to see the scenery, it’s a bit difficult, because it’s really full of mud spots after the rain. It seems that most hotels in Qingdao are like this, but this feels more serious. Basically, you can’t see the scenery at all. Basically, if you want to see the scenery, it’s really not good. For me, I came here mainly for the scenery, which can be said to be extremely disappointed. But because there is no problem with the hotel itself, I still give it a good review.
