Although the website and the front door says that check in is up until 11 PM, we arrived at 7:30 PM and the office was closed, the lights were out and there was a envelope taped to the outside entrance door with my name on it.
Inside where two past keys to the room, and a document telling us what room number. However, there were no directions, there were no parking lot lights, there was no way to find the building or specific room without simply walking around with your luggage, exploring!
Anyone could have taken one of the two keys from the envelope on the door and gone to our room before we arrived. I didn’t relish the idea of walking into some kind of trap At 7:30 PM!!
When we were booking the stay, the website said that there were only five rooms left and we were getting the best deal for a one night stay at the price of $120. However, when we arrived, we found that the entire building was empty. They had four floors and we were the only room that was rented that evening. Once all of the fees, taxes, service cost etc were applied the one night stay total was $180.00 What a ripoff!!!
