The room was very beautiful and comfortable. Negative: I tried to do a hot shower (I was all day under rain) but I managed to do it just hot cock, despite the thermostat at 38, I don't know why. The phone worked 20 seconds and then it was to be cooled, it took 15 minutes to dry my hair. But the top was at the restaurant: we were a group with fixed menus, the shopkeeper brought the first and I asked two glasses of wine, the answer was: ”First you have to pay them at the reception.” I never happened in my life! I should have gone to the room, picked up the money, paid, and eaten the first cold, I gave up the wine, and they bring the second: meals and slices, both of them don't like me, I asked if there was an alternative, and, In my opinion, the answers could be ”Unfortunately no, we're sorry” (well, if something I don't like is my fault) or how often it happens ”I'm bringing you a piece of dust?” (very well). Instead, the answer was (textual words) ”No, eat what is good.” Of course my dish was thrown away entirely. I renounced protesting for respect of the organizers, The driver of the Pullman, who was sitting in front of me, did this in my place, given my anger, but did not get any explanations from the reception manager. Maybe, given the other excellent reviews, this treatment is reserved for groups?

The Bar and Reception Staff was excellent and very professional. Lucia ( redhair lady) Luisa, Danilo (exceptional) took great care of us during our stay. Food is great, location is good, close to local amenities and authentic italian foos ( such as Rosano for Mozzarella, and Kajna has great food )

Booked this hotel last minute and spent 5 nights from 30th May to 4th June 2023. We were made to feel welcome from the minute we checked in. We were given the Royal Spa Suite and the room was beautiful, complete with jacuzzi bath and balcony. The staff could not do enough for us and were some of the friendliest and most helpful we have met in quite a while. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for them. We do have to single out one in particular though and his name is Valerio. Everything we asked was responded to within minutes and always with a smile. Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance during our stay but Valerio even managed to find us another one for the day. He arranged transport for us, at very reasonable rates and Massimo our driver was another lovely young man. A top tip! Do not get a taxi from the airport to the hotel. We were quoted 100 euros, finally settled on 70 but the hotel charges half that amount. The continental breakfast is an added bonus. Finally, for anyone who fancies a day at the shops, there is a large shopping mall 10 minutes walk away with a great variety of shops and eating places. In summary, if you want a break in a lovely hotel outside Naples the Smeraldo Hotel in Qualiano, in our opinion, is a great deal.

We didn't realise just how far this hotel was from Naples. Managed to get lift in but struggled getting back in evening as metro stopped and ended up in taxi which was very expensive. Nice room but no fridge, breakfast was very basic, parking was good. Reception girl was lovely. Naples is definitely the poor relative. Very dirt, lots of rubbish along road sides. Centre wasn't particularly nice, every where seems run down. Wouldn't recommend visiting the area.

I have no habit of giving trip advisor advice, but I will make an exception for this establishment. Hotel located outside the turbulent Naples, but not too far, so perfect for those with a car and especially if you want to visit Pouzzoles, Baies, Cumes, Capua ... Airport at 40 min. The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre and is located in the heart of the city centre. Fresh and very well valued products. Paste, fish, crustaceans and matured meat. The wine lovers are not forgotten, the wine map is simply an invitation to discover the various varieties and names of Italy and at all prices. I use this to make my daughter spend a little bit of herself with two staff of breakfast and room service.
