Stayed one night to explore Castro urdialies en route to ferry home. About 15 min walk along the sea front to downtown where the action is. Room fine with tea and coffee facilities (rare for Spain) and was ‘standard decent chain’ quality. Staff all friendly. We were able to park directly outside the hotel (€9) but this was low season. Didn’t pay for breakfast as it seemed expensive and there were several cafés offering breakfast less than 2 min walk away in the little local centre. A good base to enjoy the tapas delights of Castro Urdialies

The truth seemed to me very uncomfortable to have to go to the other building to register****, as well as they could make a entry and not have to turn around. I don't know what it was but there was something that was to noise, I don't know if it was the air conditioning (it is supposed to be shut off), in addition to the noise of the wicker, it was heard the noise of the fault. The small towels. The lift was very noisy when he opened the doors or stood on the floor (fortunately I was far from the lift). The cafeteria was very good, even the servant offered me a stick to not burn with what I was carrying, as I said I had to go to the other building. The room was very small and it was not a ventilator for smell out.

Stayed here for one night prior to Bilbao - Portsmouth crossing. Hotel looks really good on accommodation websites, has lots of positive reviews. It has a restaurant which is useful when arriving after a long day travelling. On arrival we were told the restaurant was not open though tapas was available in the bar. The hotel is not difficult to find using GPS and is close to the ferry port. It was difficult to get inside as all gates were closed You need to ring a bell for admittance, even at 5.10pm. What is not clear from photos or mentioned in the description is that the hotel is right next to an enormous petrol refinery. The air smells very strongly of fumes meaning you really cant open windows unless you want to fill the room with fumes. The room was airconditioned but the lowest temperature was preset to 25 degrees. Way too hot for a night time temperature for me, though it may be fine for others. Rooms in the main building may be lovely but we had a room in a wooden annex. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed and decent linen. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom which again was large with a good shower. What was really strange was there was no door separating the bathroom from the bedroom only a flimsy shower curtain! Not great for privacy. We paid extra for breakfast which was plentiful in quantity if a little dull. As we were getting in the car to leave the owner came running after us shouting that we had not paid for breakfast. I went back inside to show the booking to explain we had infact paid. I found this really embarrassing and annoying especially as the owner did not apologise for his error instead just stomped off. Admittedly there is not an abundance of accommodation near to the ferry port but I found this place overpriced and would not stay again.

Hemos estado este fin de semana alojados en un apartamento con 2 niñas y un bebé y nos hemos encontrado muy cómodos. Apartamento amplio, con cocina equipada para poder hacer comidas sencillas, mesa de comedor donde entraban hasta 6 personas, baño grande; en el salón había literas y sofá cama, pero está genial que el sofá no lo abran como cama porque así se puede usar para ver la tele (por cierto bastante grande). Además nos pusieron supletoria por si las niñas tenían miedo a dormir en la cama de arriba, una cuna que tenía hasta la mantita, toallas para todos, incluido el bebé (que en muchos sitios no lo ponen). Recepción y resto de personal del hotel, todo amabilidad. Además cuenta con acceso al bar restaurante, con una oferta variada para desayunar, estaba bien y a un precio correcto. El restaurante no lo probamos. Está a 10 minutos de la playa, aparcamos gratis en un sitio cercano que ellos nos indicaros, el metro a 5 minutos andando y las vistas son muy bonitas. Ya habíamos estado hace años, pero seguro que volvemos en otra ocasión .

Fabulously clean, cute and cutting edge accommodations. Reception was friendly, multi-lingual and efficient. This is a nugget hotel, so not a lot of thrill. The lobby was on the small side but inviting. There’s an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet one can purchase (I did not) two elevators take you right upstairs. The hallways are cheeky and sweet. The room was small but as a touristy traveler that was fine. I don’t want to be in a hotel room. I’m out exploring. The bed was very comfortable and the whole room was spotless. Toilet and shower are separate which is helpful if there are two in the room. Highly recommend this place.

We stayed one night, convenient location in a nice neighborhood with easy metro connection to Bilbao. Triple room modern airy, clean and well appointed , ours had balcony overlooking small park. Common areas of Joel possibly a little tired , but not a problem. Ate at the hotel and food was very good. Plenty of Free parking on site. Good choice
