Sunrise Oasis Hotel & Waterpark

We spent 10 nights here from 4th - 14th April. 2 adults and 2 children aged 8 and 6. Nice enough holiday and the kids did have a great time. I’ll list the pros and cons: Pros: Rooms - lovely and spacious. Fridge too which was a nice touch. Big bed in the bedroom and very comfortable. Children had a bed each in the lounge which was fine for them. Waterpark - Great fun for all. Very shallow water so good and safe for the kids. Kids loved it! Baby Pool - small and fun enough for smaller kids and babies. Adult Pool - nice and relaxing. Main pool - cold for April but once in was actually ok. Nice and big. Restaurant/s - main restaurant was fine, enough food for us all to choose from, pasta station, freshly baked oven pizzas, salad bar, fruit etc .. all very nice. A la carte restaurants are off site and make a nice change .. can’t complain. Drinks - great, not bad at all. Staff- really nice friendly staff. They work really hard. Allocated sunbeds - excellent idea. Saves the stress of getting up early and having to reserve one. Cons: Inland view room overlooking main road was noisy and the view was not worth sitting on the balcony for. I would suggest a room overlooking the adult pool for the evening sun and peace. Adult pool - kids playing in it late afternoon which was annoying when our kids went to kids club and we moved round to get some peace and away from kids! No one told them to leave. Kids club room - small but small soft play and more suited for younger kids but the staff are lovely. Wouldn’t return but this is a great holiday for family with kids to try.

Great waterpark, friendly staff, kudos to the kids club team and to bar tender Abdullah ! Rooms would be nicer with more decorations. Expect a 5/10 min walk to the beach, which could be improved with more signs and urban work. The nearby nature is enjoyable, especially during nightime to get views of the city lights and fresh air.

The hotel was nice, we had a nice week but far from the best all inclusive we’ve stayed in. It felt like the hotel are trying to do everything you’d like from an all inclusive on a very small plot of land. BEWARE the main swimming pool is not heated. The adults only pool was nicely heated for the 8 adults I counted lazing on sun loungers around the pool. However the main pool was FREEZING, especially on the cooler cloudier days, for the thousand guests who have children and would like to use that. The waterpark was also freezing, children had blue lips and it was supposed to be heated in April. The kids pool is more of a baby/toddler pool, very shallow with a couple of baby slides. So there wasn’t really anywhere for children to actually swim. Worth noting that the toilets in reception and around the pool were down about 20 tiled stairs which is not ideal when you have young children on frequent toilet runs. The rooms were great, felt newly refurbished and very spacious. The drinks, cocktails, ice creams and food was fabulous. Staff all very friendly. As part of the all inclusive you could eat out at 4 restaurants over the week, 3 of which are off site on the main ***** which was a lovely treat and all were amazing! There isn’t anywhere nice to enjoy a drink in the evening. You could sit at the pool bar with the tv / next to a road on or in reception under bright lights. Both lacked any nice atmosphere / background live music. No nice views from the hotel. The evening entertainment is in the main reception which is very bright with spotlights and cramped, the hotel bring extra tables and chairs in to a very small area. Certainly not enough room for the guests. A nice short stroll to the beach, which is beautiful.

We are a family of five and had a fantastic holiday here at the start of April. The hotel was great, clean, food and drink was good, and lots for the kids to do. The two really stand out features were: - The 4 restaurants which are part of your all inclusive package (3 of which are on the main Protaras *****). The food in all of them was excellent and we really enjoyed going out as a family at no extra expense. - The waterpark. The kids loved it and it kept them busy all day. The kids all made loads of new friends here. The main swimming pool is excellent too with various depths and water features. And there’s a separate pool with small slides and water fountains for toddlers. The weather was good (sunny, 22°C most days). Me and the kids were happy in t-shirts and shorts in the evenings when we went into Protaras. My wife felt a bit cold so it’s probably a good idea to pack another layer for the evenings. Staff were really friendly and helpful, especially those on the reception desk. Lovely kids club, with a small soft play. Nice little park where there were daily activities for the kids such as pottery making and magic shows. Hotel is in a great location with only a short walk to the beach and main *****. We got a bus to Ayia Napa for the day (€1.50 each) from right outside the hotel. A lot of people are mentioning the sunbed allocation system which yes initially feels a bit odd and was clearly a new initiative the week we stayed so did perhaps take a bit longer than it should have BUT… we actually really liked it. There was no rush in a morning to find a sunbed, the kids always knew where we were, and we got to know the other families around us. Kids got beanbag style sunbeds (don't be put off by that description - they loved them). Also, if you wanted to move, you just needed to speak to the attendant and they would find you new beds - it’s really not as dramatic as has been described in some reviews. If you’re looking for a great family hotel with good food and lots to do for the kids - then I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The food was excellent with lots of choice and even pleased our fussy 5 year old. There was always chicken nuggets, fish fingers and chips available and fresh vegetables and salad. The chef took pride in the food and was always out checking it and hot food was being replenished regularly. There was fresh pasta dishes and fresh pizza always available too. The pool was great and the kids loved the water slides. The waiters were friendly in the restaurant and also the bar staff too. The adults pool was a lovely spot for the sun at the end of the day. The room was very clean and comfortable and the maid was friendly and always said hello when we passed her in the corridor. The location of the hotel was great as it was a few minutes walk to the main street where the beach, bars and shops were. We like exploring so the hotel was a good base for walking around the resort of Protaras.

This hotel goes above and beyond. Always spotlessly clean, staff are always friendly & helpful, food is delicious and the kids loved the waterpark. In addition to that the area is beautiful - Fig Tree Bay is the most amazing beach for families and has incredible water sports. Magic Dancing Water show is definitely worth a visit as are the 4 speciality restaurants included if you’re all inclusive (loved them all but the Greek was my favourite). Next door is Lidl which is perfect if you’re self catering or you want some goodies for the room. Can’t fault this place at all!

We had a wonderful week at this hotel. Our older child couldn't get enough of the waterpark. Our younger one loved the kids pool and the kids entertainment provided. The kids club and all the staff there is fantastic. The meals in the restaurants are very tasty, and again all the restaurant staff is very friendly and polite. Thank you everyone at Oasis for making our holiday truly special. We will be back ;)

Amazing hotel, big water park, lovely staff and amazing food. I would definitely recommend, it was so close to the city centre and ayia napa. The rooms are so nice and so clean, we stayed 4 days and the food was lovely everyday. The only thing that i would change would maybe be the bed sizes for the sharing rooms. Would definitely go back

We were looking for last minute trip away to get some sunshine, minimum fuss and a chance to relax. That’s exactly what we got. Weather was mostly great, but does get chilly in the summer evenings this time of year. Loved the sunbed allocation. Finally a hotel where you don’t have to get up at the crack of dawn and fight for a place. I’d recommend not always handing your towels in at the end of the day as obviously there’s going g to be big demand first thing each morning. Pools great and water temperature fine once you got used to it. Kids loved the slides so that’s all that matters to me! Staff work tirelessly, especially by the main pool bar, so thank you very much. Food was good. Not sure what people are expecting for the cost. Bar snacks very handy. Loved the option to go offsite to 3 other restaurants as part of your all inclusive. Drinks fine for us - again you get what you pay for Room one of the best we’ve had to be honest. Local resort not for us, but that’s not what we went for Thanks again to all the hard working staff
