Hotel Yaxactun

Despite the negative comments about the hotel on ******* I choose to give it a try. The hotel was better than I expected. I been to other hotels in the area and they are rundown and more like motel/ hostals. This hotel is renovated and decor is beautiful. Per staff was just renovated 10 -15 days ago. My room space was smaller than expected but very nice. It needs more space for lugagge and to move around. The advertisement on ******* mentions there 2 bars on the permises but thier is none. No food at the hotel but their is places to eat nearby. The staff mention they will soon have a restaurant. I didn't use the pool area , the area looked nice but the pool water looked a bit cloudy. The beach is 2blocks down very acessible and the hotel provides you with beach towels and also towels for the pool area. When I arrived my room wasnt ready it was ready 40 min later. Most of the staff at the hotel is very nice and willing to help. Very nice experience and restful stay. The hotel has very nice instagram picture areas.

EXCELENTE UBICACIÓN Y MUY BONITO LUGAR

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the water pressure was very bad. The hotel is very rundown and outdated. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The area felt relatively safe and was very close to the Malecon. No parking though- you have to park ion the street.

No parking. The place is a bit older than it looks in pictures. Not the best shower pressure. The location was really nice and a short walk to the meteorite museum and boardwalk.

Good location for the price, a block and a half from the beach and boardwalk. Sits on busy intersection so at times it was louder than desired. Shower pressure was lower but still OK. Toilet took forever to fill. Bed was a little hard but fine. AC worked well. Fridge only in the room. It’s definitely a budget friendly room.

Basic hotel but only two blocks from the beach. Safe location and good free street parking. Good hot water and decent pressure. Mini fridge in the room. Beds are a little hard. AC works well with a nice big ceiling fan. Currently, the ocean has red tide and many dead fish with murky water. The hotel has a smaller pool but didn’t try it out. Located on a busier intersection which was a little louder than we would have liked.

The people that work there are very friendly and helpful when you ask for directions or suggestions about places to visit. Hotel was very just two blocks away from the beach. No hot water at all but some time you don't need it. It's warm all the time there
