We spent a wonderful week as a family with a teenager. From the terrace you can see and hear the sea. The furnishings are very tasteful and well thought out. The hosts are very friendly and attentive and make many things possible. For example, we wanted to take a boat trip to Grand Sister and within a few hours Marcel had organized it for us. Our daughter was very enthusiastic about the many animals and fed and stroked the tortoises every day.

It really is an absolute insider tip on Praslin. Here you really are in paradise. Villas du Voyageur consists of a villa with two separate apartments, slightly elevated on the upper plot with direct access to the beach on Anse Kerlan. You have a spectacular view of the tropical garden and the Indian Ocean. If we had the choice, we would choose this accommodation again and again. The apartment house is located just 5 minutes from Praslin Airport. Far away from the main road so you can enjoy heavenly peace. 2 minutes by car or 10 minutes on foot from the villa there is a small supermarket that has the essentials for daily needs. The famous Anse Georgette beach can also be reached in 2 minutes by car. All you have to do is park in front of the Hotel Lemuria and then walk 20 minutes along the golf course (the paths go uphill and downhill). Very difficult in the tropical heat. But you can swim and swim there very well and enjoy a wonderful sunset. Oversized apartment with a beautiful terrace overlooking the garden and the sea. Pure peace, you can hear the waves rushing. Here we were able to really switch off from the stress in Germany. The air conditioning in the bedroom works perfectly and is very quiet. Everything is available in the kitchen for self-catering. As a point of criticism, I unfortunately have to add that the towels were not changed during the time we were there (4 nights). The quality of the towels also left a little to be desired. Some of them have a lot of stains from their predecessors. You only got beach towels once per stay, which were already very old and worn out. So an improvement is urgently needed here! Natalie and her husband Marcel run the villa, while their mother Dagmar lives on site. You can reach Natalie at any time by telephone in the villa and she is also available in the evenings to provide advice and information. Dagmar, the good soul of the house, is always up for a chat. Everyone is very warm and helpful, with a smile on their faces. They also arranged a snorkeling and turtle island trip for us so we didn't have to worry about anything. Breakfast can be booked optionally and is served on the private veranda overlooking the Indian Ocean. We enjoyed this twice. There is cheese, sausage, eggs (these are fried in the apartment), as you like, a few chopped vegetables and a plate of fruit. Very plentiful for us. However, Sundays are a day of rest and then you have to prepare your own breakfast. We didn't test any bars or restaurants nearby because we sometimes bought takeaways or cooked ourselves. The beach is fine sand and very wide, but not necessarily suitable for swimming because of the strong current
