Lesser Town
A lovely traditional hotel in a great location. The hotel is right at the end of the Charles bridge so it’s really easy to get to all of the main sights around the city. We couldn’t believe how quiet our room was considering it’s location. There was lots of choice at breakfast and we particularly appreciated the free tea and coffee that was available all day. The room was spacious, and toiletries and a hairdryer were available. Would recommend.

We stayed there one night with our two months old baby, everything was fine. We booked a parking in the garage, which is not suitable for SUV´s, very limited parking space. Only basic toiletries, comfy bed. Very good breakfast with fresh scrambled eggs cooked for you. Worth the value.

We have just stayed 4 nights at this lovely hotel The reception on arrival, was very friendly and efficient, supported by the Manager, Martin. We were offered a Suite on the second floor, which was everything we expected. The only slight niggle, was the noise of the trams outside from 4:30 am, so I would advise people to perhaps select the opposite side of the building, but other than that, the suite catered for all our needs, with plenty of space. We had lunch and breakfast at the hotel and we found the food to be excellent, accompanied by very attentive service. Our only other suggestion, would be to ask the staff at the lobby bar, to be slightly more attentive to guests waiting for drinks, as it became a little frustrating having to wait at times. The Spa is lovely and a great place to relax after a busy day in Prague. Overall, absolutely delighted with our stay; and if we return to Prague, we will visit NH Collection Prague Carlo 1V.

The overall stay was very good. Although there was an episode of the elevator failure at check-in, I saw the professionalism and service standards of the front desk staff (eg. Adam) and it was worthy of applause. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Susi, the front desk clerk of the hotel restaurant, for his hospitality, which made our trip to Prague very enjoyable.

Cons: The room was small and narrow, two people couldn't move around, boxes were forced into the bathroom (and so it was quite large), and after 8 or 9 a.m. there would be noisy staff in the courtyard. Advantages: Convenient location, just in front of the bridge in the alley entrance, very close to most attractions, can walk, there are many restaurants downstairs.

About this hotel: there are no words that can translate the amazing experience we had! Me and my 2 friends were amused by everything. The location is great, you can reach to Old Town Square in 10 minutes by feet! If you don’t feel like walking, you also have the underground subway and the tram at 2 minutes from the hotel. The bedroom was huge, well equipped, with amazing sunlight in the morning, the perfect temperature by night and such comfy beds as well as so many space in the closet to hang your things. The staff was even greater, we own special gratitude to Dominik which is the perfect host and tour guy (if you don’t know where to start your trip and where Czech food and drinks to experiment are better you can trust he is packed with amazing suggestions!) But the offers this hotel have are so much more worth mentioning: starting with the Restaurant La Boca, a fusion between Spanish and Argentinian food, that already makes us have water in our mouth from remembering it. Amazing tapas and amazing breakfast such as so nice staff. Next, the Wine Office: the greatest wine we ever tasted! We are not wine experts but that Cava robbed our heart in the first second we tasted it. In this point we also send our warmest regards to Dominik which suggested the exact perfect wine and revealed himself really experienced with Wine Office being his own business and passion, feeling that he passes to the clients and makes the whole experience soooo different! Then the games room downstairs where you can spend time playing billiard and other games which makes it a great plan if you feel tired from all the sightseeing of the city but you still don’t feel like going to sleep. It is also worth mentioning the Vegan café the other Salvator facilities have: a top tier coffee you can feel it is natural and not machine made such as amazing food. We are not vegans but the non-Chicken Popcorn made us feel ashamed we aren’t!
