If you’re looking for location right by Portofino Marina then this is your place. There is NO shower in the rooms, only a huge tub with old style faucets, this was a huge disadvantage. The tussue box in the bathroom was empty. We weren’t given the WiFi password at check in until we called to ask and we also did not receive the free spa service and we weren’t offered any! It’s way too expensive for what we got! I don’t recommend staying there. Saint Margherita Ligure hotels are much better with better services and amenities. Also, the breakfast was very poor, no varieties and the toaster oven wasn’t working. I won’t stay there again for sure . Thanks

Hotel said I was paying taxes on my stay booked with Hyatt points, and proceeded to charge me over 1100 Euro. They are not responsive about refunding the fraudulent charge. Now I’m resorted to disputing through my bank. Avoid the hassle and horrible customer service. The hotel is not that nice this it is remotely worth dealing with these people.

So doesn’t describe such a work of art! This boutique Hotel is incredible. The moment you walk in your greeted by name, beautiful entry, and a cocktail. Our room 50 is so comfy, bathroom over the top and nice and cool. I would never stay in any other hotel based on my experience at both hotels.

Wonderful experience. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The surroundings on Paraggi Beach are fabulous. An added benefit is the complimentary chauffeur service to Portofino. Try the Portico taverna for lunch or dinner. Great food. Great people.

I recently stayed at the Eight Hotel in Portofino. The entire hotel was under construction unbeknownst to me and my husband prior to our stay. We were woken up by construction every morning and the garden was unavailable. There were no amenities. Then when we wanted to use the beach club in Paraggi, we were charged €160, despite being hotel guests at a hotel under construction. When I complained to concierge they said they couldn’t do anything but to reach out to their manager Ermis. After multiple emails I never heard back once. Unacceptable for a hotel charging €1,000 per night and not offering any amenities or customer service.

It Was so nice to walk in and find a lovely reception area! great staff, welcome drink non alcoholic- well received! Room was great ours was a suite a great bed and comfortable options on pillows is good. Good location. Would have liked jacuzzi bath in our room and view could have been better

I stayed with my wife on our covid delayed honeymoon. The hotel is small and cute, with a great breakfast. The patio on the room deck makes this place 4 stargs. A little bit of hike into town, but nothing too strenuous. The staff was amazing at helping with a complicated reservation issue with ******* and American Express. The front desk helped through many emails and phone calls to get the issue resolved. Would definitely stay here again.
