This hotel is probably the best experience I've had. It earns its 5 stars due to their quiet and luxurious rooms. Much attention was given to the planning of the rooms with the needs of the guest anticipated. The staff is extremely professional but also warm and welcoming. Special mention to Ivan, the manager who gave me great advice on special things not to miss, and Lia, front desk assistant. Thank you both for such a great experience in Plovdiv.

Amazing hotel, outstanding design, cozy atmosphere. Responsive and very friendly staff. The entire hotel has a unique atmosphere . There is a great bar in the lobby . Anyone visiting Plovdiv should not miss the Emporium hotel .World 5 star level.

I would easily say that was the best hotel I've been to. Excellent service, very clean, staff were very kind and polite. The design of the rooms is great - very modern. We stayed in a superior room with our 3 year old.

I stay at a lot of hotels (hence my Diamond Accor status) so I am Super fussy and I have to say that this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in recently. The staff are all amazing and without fail made me feel special. The contemporary hotel is stunningly designed with exceptional attention detail. Nothing could be faulted. The breakfast was amazing - a la cart and considering I was the o Ky guest in a 70+ seat restaurant, was pretty impressive. It’s an easy 10 min walk to old town but they have a fantastic restaurant on site (book as it gets very busy) If you go to Plovdiv, stay here. End of story.

We stayed here 3 nights in september 2023. The hotel is very expensive and advertises with “the best 5* boutique hotel in Eastern Europe”. It was embarrassing to realise that one night is the same amount as the monthly minimum wage in Bulgaria! When we arrived the temperature in the room was 28 degrees (outside also 28) and after 2 hours with the airconditioning fully on it was still 25 degrees. We booked a suite with balcony but the balcony is not an external balcony but INSIDE the hotel! So the only reason to sit at the balcony is to smoke and guests indeed use their balcony to smoke. We thought this was a non smoking hotel? Alexander at the reception was very helpful and after consultation with management he moved us to a room/suite without balcony. After we moved to this room, Alexander had to come to our room again to fix the light in the toilet which didn’t work. On the positive side: the shower, bed and WiFi are good. There is a watercooker and a coffee machine (but no milk or powder milk). Compliments to the cleaning staff. There is a Sony Bluetooth speaker in the room but my iPhone didn’t connect to it. Breakfast was a bizar experience: the staff in the restaurant gave us a very small menu on Sunday: only eggs and on a table there was some yogurt and cereal. This was disappointingly simple for a 5* hotel and the loud music was annoying. On Monday to our surprise there was a more extensive a la cart menu and less loud music. On Tuesday it was even more bizar: I received the extensive a la carte menu and my wife was given the menu which they gave us on Sunday: only 3 eggs, either boiled, fried or as omelet. Dinner in the restaurant is good value for money. There is a parking next to the hotel (€12 per day) and reservation is recommended. Summary: nice room, very friendly staff, poor processes and outrageously overpriced.

I’ve had my fair share of 5 star hotels. But none have come close to Emporium’s level of hospitality, service and professionalism. The room is a work of art and I’ll definitely be taking inspiration for my own bedroom design from it. The staff apart from being polyglots were the kindest I’ve ever had the pleasure to interact with. Special thanks to the lovely lady tending to the bar aptly named Freya. It’s rare for me being the cocktail snob that I am to meet someone who’s as passionate about the art form as I am.
