Barcelo Playa Blanca

Barcelo Lanzarote - Arrived 21st Dec for a week, changed from Iberostar Lanzarote Park, regret that now. Arrived at 12pm, room not available until 3pm, and had to chase at reception 3 times to get room at 4.30pm. Rooms lovely and clean, resort lovely and clean. public Toilets, best I’ve come across in a holiday hotel !! Massive downside, they can’t keep the food hot 🥵 everything luke warm 😞 One night had bolognaise and it might as well come straight from the fridge to my plate and the pasta was not even luke warm. When we left on 28th, we had early flight and went into restaurant at 7am as it opened and food luke warm !!! Table service in some of the bars was awful once they saw you had all inclusive band and not tipping. Champs bar was the worse ever, the one barman was awful, only gave me service once I told him that I was unhappy with his service. Best food at the breeze bar to be honest, food hot and panini grill for toasties, fresh pizza coming out. Will not be on my return list 😞

What a fantastic place! We stayed for a week in December and thought it was amazing. Staff were so friendly, the hotel is stunning and so clean and comfortable. Plenty of space and different areas to relax in, which was handy as it was a bit windy when we were there but there was always somewhere lovely to chill out. Drinks options at the bars were the best we've ever seen at an all inclusive and the service was great. For food, the a la carte options at the Magical Restaurant were wonderful, we also ate at the Japanese restaurant, and the main buffet restaurant and were really happy with all of them. We had a birthday while there, and had a lovely bottle of bubbly and a card delivered to the room. We'd love to return in future.
