At this very moment, I am still a hotel guest. Eight days are behind me, there are three more to go. However, I can already say that I will be back very soon, maybe already in September. What I like the most about this hotel is the architecture, location and staff. Speaking of the architecture, it is, in my view, a real jam – everything is specious, from the long main entrance hall that gives you deep perspective ending in the sea with the two islands that are considered to be one of the key landmarks of Petrovac. Going forward in the same direction, once the long hall ends, one will find him/herself on the large terrace, which is basically the extension of the hall, with the same amazing view… basically, from the moment you enter the hall everything directs you toward the sea and if you just keep walking, you will end up on the hotel beach after 100m. The hotel preserved the old furniture from the 80s, there are many interesting paintings on the walls, everything feels very cosy, despite the size… it may give you the impression of being in a museum/gallery. Speaking of the architecture, this hotel is low rise, with limited number of rooms – even when the hotel is fully occupied you still have plenty of space… one can even say that the public space is oversized for the hotel capacity, but that is EXACTLY what makes it so different and luxurious. The location is, as already indicated, perfect – facing the beach, being 100m from the reception desk to the beach (from the hotel garden it is appr 30m). The staff is as warm as the Montenegrin summer 😉. Everyone is willing to go beyond its line of duty in order to make a guest happy, starting from the reception and ending with a bar, restaurant, housekeeping service etc. Food… I loved it, sufficient choice, well prepared. I paid for the half-board and it is perfect for me, cannot comment on the all-inclusive aspects. As long as the hotel maintains this atmosphere, quality of service and the balance between the space and number of guests, it will have a luxury flair that number of 5-star hotels do not have… and I am saying this as someone who had been lucky enough to visit many top-level hotels in my business and private life. The worst thing for this hotel would be that someone tries to turn it in to “modernized” version, potentially add capacity, open some shops in the hall (now there is none!) etc. This kind of “upgrade” would kill its spirit and would make it just one of many… and most comparative advantages it has at the moment would be gone.

Very close to the Beach with restaurants and cafés. We stayed at the annex building 50 meter from the main building. And the building is from 2019. Ervything is new and beautiful. The staffs are very friendly. The Only thing to improve was the evening dinner buffet was terrible. A big hall with so many guests and loud. The quality of buffet was not so good. The breakfast buffet was even better .

I dont lke to give bad reviews but so many faults flag up I feel others should know of our experience. Journey from airport is just under an hour. Arrived at hotel and greeted by Saga rep with a welcome drink. So far so good. Saga rep announced that he would do the check in himself. One man 50+ people, really? I was already standing by checkin desk but everyone surged forward trying to get in first. One man literally put his passport in front of my face from behind me. Rude people not hotels fault. We were allocated a room on the 2nd floor and told just go round the corner and up slope. The 'slope' turned out to be a steep set of stairs with heavy cases. There is only a lift that serves 3rd floor and upwards. No lift on 1st and 2nd. When we entered the room the smell of sewage was overpowering. This continued for entire 2 weeks. Bad plumbing meant when toilet flushed it bubbled up in shower, quite disgusting. The remote for tv was missing. It took 3 visits to a very bored looking receptionist to produce another. Room very tired looking. Dont understand how hotel is 4 star. Curtain was hanging off pole. A previous child occupant had scribbled all over the information folder. Beds were very hard. The aircon might as well not been there, so weak. Reception told us to just leave on all the time for room to cool which we did. Was 29 degrees to begin with and 27 degrees two weeks later. Sometimes the room was cleaned sometimes not. There were plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The pool itself was about 5ft deep with no shallow end. Me being 5ft2ins couldn't touch bottom but that was ok but parents were struggling with small children. Now to the restaurant and drinks. I can only reiterate what previous comments have said. Food is awful. Always cold. I understand we are in another country and tastes are very different from what we are used to but a bit more variety would be nice. Dessert was always the same dreary square of creamy cake or fruit. Might get away with it for a couple of days but after a week was unbearable. Both my husband an I had two days each of food poisoning as did quite a few other guests in our party. It was suggested that it was because milk is not pasteurised in Monte***** but we will never know. At breakfast the orange juice out of the machine was so weak and tastless and the coffee undrinkable. We bought our own coffee sachets in and used them. Lunch and dinner orange switched off and only water or poor quality wine available. There is no option to order any other drinks. The whole hotel is very dated and in bad need of total refurb. How this can be a Saga hotel is beyond me. There are stairs and steps everywhere and any wheelchair/pram ramps so steep you take your life in your hands. There were a couple of weddings whilst we were there but didnt bother us at all. On our return home our plane was cancelled which meant us staying at another 4 star hotel near the airport. The difference was

perfect hotel. (Lux). Friendly staff, clean and highly recommended. Beach is just in front, clean and perfect for families. I was visiting many places in Monte***** but this hotel, I must say, is the best on on a coast. On my list for next yer for sure.

why can't zero be the rating for this hotel? the price is very high, and you don't even get the basics. neither shampoo nor bath, the air conditioning in the rooms is very weak. breakfast and dinner tasteless, coffee very very very bad, juice for breakfast is almost water, and for dinner you don't even get juice. parking €15 per day, umbrella and sunbed set €15.

Took my mother in law for her first massage and they made the experience a lovely one. She had the full body massage (60min) which was quite affordable. I had the back and neck massage and must say my masseuse was great, adjusted the pressure to my preference. I’d highly recommend as there’s limited options in Petrovac. If you’re after a couples massage do note that it won’t be in the same exact room. It’s easy access to the beach and also has a beach view, pool side restaurant. You can book quite flexibly and they even offer walk-ins. Most importantly access to the spa facilities is included in the price, jacuzzi, Turkish hammam and sauna. The experiential shower didn’t really live up to it as water pressure was pretty low. Besides that, you can enjoy a range of teas and coffee if you ask nicely. My only suggestion is that the hotel provide more options of body oils, shower gels and perhaps disposable exfoliating gloves to enjoy the self-hammam experience. I had to purchase some products from the local cosmetics store which wasn’t that costly but would be great if it could be included or offered as an add-on.

From my room I had a really amazing view, after that disappointment after disappointment. Cold food served on first dinner, same “hot vegetables” served for breakfast the next day. Most of the food was recycled from dinner, breakfast, and lunch. The dining room was a good place to watch other non English guests over load their plates as if there was going to be no chance of going back for more. Did not have a good nights sleep for the whole 2 weeks stayed there, as could hear noise from the bar below the room and the lift going up and down all night. All inclusive drinks where very limited to either sprite, cola, squash, and spirits. The coffee was very poor quality and un drinkable. Room service was unpredictable, some days they went to the room in the morning, some days it was early afternoon. Mosquitoes are everywhere in the hotel. Uncomfortable seating in every area of the hotel. Would not go to this hotel again ever

The positives from this hotel is the stunning full sea view from the balcony of our room, it was a wonderful sight especially watching the sunsets. We have a king size bed at home and the bed in the hotel room was even bigger and very comfortable. There was also complimentary bath robes, slippers, beach towels, free safe deposit box & upon arrival there was a plate of fruit and bottles of water left out for us. I also liked the comfy sun loungers with sun visors there was plenty of availability for them. The downside to the hotel are the fact you get kicked out of the main restaurant on Saturday's so that wedding receptions can take place. It might be a savvy business idea to have weddings, conferences and seminars at regular intervals but it isn't great from the hotel guests point of view. Having to endure the heavy beat of the live wedding band, screaming kids running around & messing with both the lifts - not great! I have to say that on the whole I personally enjoyed the food & found plenty of variety although I have to agree with others that it was lukewarm at best. On a couple of ocassions even the fresh hot food that came out was in fact stone cold. Entertainment for hotel guests was live entertainment on Saturday, Tuesday & Thursday and was good, it was a young man playing keyboard, backing tracks and songing. It was unfortunate that on the second Saturday the young man was ill and there was no alternative entertainment provided which was a great shame. Would I return - no
