Travelodge Perth A9

Excellent location for business trip. Welcoming reception and receptionist took time to explain things to us including booking of pub on site which was very good. Room was clean and tidy and other than noise from other guests leaving in the morning we had a comfortable nights sleep. Just out side of Perth but picked as I was on business trip and close to site. Very reasonable price and will return when next working in area

We stayed here for 2 nights when visiting family in the area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a fairly big tv. The only issue was that the lift was out of order so we had to walk up two flights of stairs to our room. The self service buffet breakfast was fine - nothing fancy but everything you would need. There was a selection of cooked items plus bread and croissants, yogurt, fruit and juice. The hotel is a bit out of the town centre ( 45 minutes walk ) so we walked in and got the bus back. The receptionist gave us some recommendations for restaurants and information about the buses. We would happily stay again if in the area.

Clean, good price, no hassle accommodation. Free parking and friendly staff. Quiet overnight stay with no noise to disturb sleep with nearby places for food. Would stay here again when travelling near Perth/Dundee.

We booked to stay here overnight due to the hotels location to the station, although we did drive up to Scotland in the end. The hotel is set back off the main road which leads to a peaceful nights sleep. Our room was very spacious with a high ceiling, the bathroom was modern with a specious walk in shower. We opted to eat in the restaurant as we arrived in the dark and didn’t know where else to go in the city. The food was lovely and although we went into the city for breakfast, Im sure that is also very good. The staff member that we encountered doubled up as waitress and bar tender, I didn’t get her name but she is a wonderful, friendly lady and a credit to the hotel. If you are staying in Perth for any reason,I can recommend this hotel.

Came to this hotel to meet with family from Inverness so were looking forward to a lovely catch up and nice night away. We were a party of four plus one fur baby. Upon check in we arrived 1 hour early and thought we would see if there was the possibility of the room being ready. We were meant with a cold and sharp response that no rooms in the full hotel were ready. This was at 3pm. My family who arrived 30mins early also received the same response and frosty reception. When we did check in one of the staff started feeding my dog loads of biscuits without my consent and I had to politely ask her to stop. She did not know the temperament of my dog or if she had any diet issues. When we checked into our room we did have to go around the room with wet wipes. We were disgusted with the fluff and stickiness to the tv remote especially! Before and after dinner we sat in their lounge which was lovely. The price of the food menu and drinks menu is very overpriced for the quality which you received. For breakfast we ordered a full cooked breakfast. The sausages tasted very unusual and we ask the waiter if he knew what kind they were. He said he didn’t and we asked if he could find out which he gave a tut and eye roll to. Found out they were gluten free. Strange to serve gluten free when neither of us have a gluten intolerance. Overall leaving the hotel we had had a nice time due to company but knew we would not return. We were in total shock when we received an email to say that we were being charged an additional £25 for mud paw marks on the bed sheets. We called the hotel to explain that we returned to our room and my dog put her front paws on top on the duvet sheet. Something which dog owners will know is part of having a dog. We did not realise her paws were mucky when entering the room. She is a small to medium size dog so the paw prints were small. We were told that it is in their policy that additional charges would be occurred for exceptional cleaning circumstances. I would not deem this to fall into that category. The receptionist said she would speak with management regarding our dispute and contact us back. You could imagine our surprise when my mums card was charged the £25 and we had no contact from management. I emailed the hotel regarding this also to let them know that I had left a bottle of perfume in the room if they could look into this. After several days of no contact I called again and was told they would be in touch. Two days after this I received an email from the owner Claire. She stated that we should not have had our dog on the bed, quoted their policy, said my perfume was no where to be found and that it was unfortunate that my dog misbehaved and we were left disappointed as a result. I could not believe an email like this would come from an owner. I replied that if she had spoken with staff she would have known the dog was not on the bed and the event that caused the marks. For an owner of a “dog friendly hotel” to say my d

The surrounding grounds are quite attractive as is the hotel building. The gathering areas are also welcoming but the room accommodations are variable. Our room was comfortable and well-furnished but not so the room of our traveling companions. I'm basing my review only on our room. The beds were comfortable and everything worked. Had plenty of hot water for a shower and there were complimentary containers of shower products. A hot breakfast was available and there is plenty of parking on the grounds.
