It is a small hotel. The rooms are decorated in a nostalgic Japanese style. The lobby was renovated earlier. There are not many facilities. It is a bit old but very clean. There are small baths and open-air baths. Since there are not many guests, it will not be crowded even if it is small. The staff is friendly. On the night of check-in and the next morning when you return to the hotel after taking photos, you will be served drinks in the lobby. When you leave, they will take the initiative to take photos for guests at the door with Mount Fuji as the background. The hotel faces Mount Fuji, so you can see Mount Fuji from the door and from the room. The location is not in a busy city, so it will be more convenient to drive by yourself. There are not many shops nearby, so it is best to buy some food for dinner and breakfast. The hotel also sells cup noodles and a small number of snacks, as well as drink vending machines. The advantage of living here is that if the weather is good when you get up early in the morning, you can see Mount Fuji before setting off to take pictures. If you want to take photos at several nearby lakes, it is a good choice. You can also take beautiful photos on the top floor of the hotel. The hotel's TV will automatically turn on at six in the morning. It may be the morning alarm clock. It was not mentioned when checking in, which is a bit scary, but once I open the window and see the beautiful Mount Fuji, it doesn't matter.

It was a good experience in Japan. For this kind of accommodation The first night, I slept in room 102, a good room with 4 beds and a dining table for 4 people. I liked it very much, so I asked to stay the 2nd night, but the 2nd night I got room number 105, a room with 2 futons + sofa. It was uncomfortable to sleep, the mattress was a moving spring. And the noise is very annoying.

There weren't many word of mouth on the net, and it was cheap and uneasy, but is there such a good pension? I am so satisfied that I think! ☺️ Pet available, dinner breakfast, hot spring rental free cospa is too good. The meal was also very delicious like a luxury hotel dish. Coffee is also delicious. The hot spring was also pleasant. Face wash, shampoo and body soap were also available! The water pressure in the shower is also satisfactory. Because it was petable, I had the smell of the room or anxiety, but it was a very beautiful room without smell at all. The downside was that I could hear the snoring voice in the next room. I will go to stay again!

We absolutely loved this hotel. Our room (one with a private onsen on the terrace) was huge and had everything we could possibly have needed - fridge/freezer with complimentary sparkling wine and water. Tea, coffee and biscuits. Nightly chocolates. Tons of bathroom amenities and a range of clothing to wear in the resort and in the room. Our private onsen was the perfect temperature and had a fantastic view of Fujisan. The bed was huge and comfy. Lighting was really intelligently placed and there were plenty of plug sockets too. The food in the restaurant (4 courses plus anything you want from the buffet!) was excellent both nights and they kindly adapted one course to suit us as we don’t eat meat. Breakfast was generous too with a range of Japanese, other Asian and Western options. There were few Westerners staying when we were there. The English language skills of the staff is variable but with smiling, guessing and google translate we all managed to make ourselves understood and we found everyone very friendly and patient with our horrible Japanese! All in all, our stay was perfect and we hope to return one day soon!

It is the first time to stay at an inn or hotel along the shojin lake. You can see shojin lake and Mt. Fuji from the room, and the scenery is very good. Especially when you sit in the zashiki and look at it, you can't see the road in front of the inn, there is nothing extra building, only the mountains, the sea and the lake are visible and it is a picture-like view. The room was already covered with futons. Wi-Fi is connected to the room. The toilet was the latest style with the lid open freely. The bath used the view rental bath on the first day. The guests can use it for free once per stay (30 minutes reservation system once). In the rental open-air bath, two people are put in the top, but the washroom is quite narrow and only one person can use it. There was a body soap, rinse in shampoo and soap. The dressing washroom area is not so narrow. The next morning, I went to the public bath (the hot spring name is Kamiku Onsen). The open-air bath is the size of a semi open-air bath. There was a washroom in the inner bath ６. There is no makeup water in the wash area. Dinner at the restaurant was set on the table except for rice miso soup, but every item seemed delicious and actually all delicious. The sake was 3000 yen for a wine bottle from Yamanashi, and if it was made into a white wine of Koshu grape of Manz wine, it was good for the dish. There were also 2100 yen for import & Yamanashi grape wine bottles. Breakfast was a balanced Japanese meal. It was good not to be able to bake eggs and bake cherry blossoms. The view from the shojin lake and Mt. Fuji restaurant at breakfast was also good. As I arrived, I went to this place as a private inn, but at the end, ”this is a hole in Fuji Goko. The scenery of Fuji and Lake is good, the meal is delicious, and the view from the hot spring is good. It was not a modern inn, but it was kept clean and was a good inn with outstanding views.
