I stayed here overnight during the 2022 National Road Rally. Secure parking for my motorcycle where the host welcomed me as I rode in. I had a very comfortable night in a very clean ensuite single room on the second floor. Full English breakfast was delivered to my door spot on 7.30 as requested. Location is a short walk from the town centre where there are plenty of pubs and takeaways etc. Overall an excellent B&B which I will definitely consider for a return visit.

Most places were fully booked and twice the price (at least) , I only needed to stay one night, £60 room only with plenty of places to walk to for food if needed, room was clean and spacious (some reviews say it’s dated) erm probably to do with the fact it’s a really old building- clean comfortable bed and clean bathroom, within easy reach of everything- no parking but the owner will direct you to parking straight across from the hotel that was no problem at all - I will stay here again - thanks

Cannot fault this small hotel in beautiful Penrith. We stayed for two nights on our way to Center Parcs and again two nights after. It was a great base to explore the local area and experience the Dtovers Festival on our last night. Everything in the hotel was very clean and the bed was amazing, first night and I slept like a baby, usually it takes me a few nights to settle into a good sleep, but not here! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful, which really makes a huge difference. The price was very reasonable too. 10 out of 10 from our whole party.

Outstanding, I had a superb stay ,the George is unique Whilst, having a timeless aspect ,magnificent historic building it has modern features, and aspects,that make it very comfortable. A beautiful building in a beautiful setting, the gardens are tidy and well maintained, I imagine it to be stunning in the summer when in full bloom. Hazel and Ian were fabulous hosts, they couldn't do enough for us. The rooms are beautifully decorated and immaculately cleaned, fridge with bottled water and fresh fruit was a nice touch and a tea tray full with a good selection of hot drinks, the bathroom was well stocked with any toiletries you could possibly need. Breakfast choices were great, the full English was delicious with local produce used, presentation of all dishes was spot on. We would highly recommend this hidden gem and we would definitely return.

The only thing to complain is the waitress in the restaurant. She’s so arrogant, cold. She seems the only one to take orders at dinner and breakfast time . It’s very hard to put up with her. I only left 2 pound tip. That’s only for the courtesy. she doesn’t deserve the tip at all! We planned to stay in the same hotel on the way back from Scotland, but hesitate because of her bad service as it’s hard to avoid . It’s inconvenient to have meals outside the hotel. .., Plus the salad served with old whole leaves !!! Sausage roll was served with two burned sausage in two pieces of dry bread with not sauce or butter on. 除了餐厅女服务员的极差服务以外，酒店其他一切完美！前台很热心， 酒店环境非常美！ 酒店有停车场！
