I stayed for three nights and this is what I have to say: The room was spacious and super clean. They do room service every day without asking. The office hosts will asked to write the names of all guest and car plate number. Too many construction trucks (big and wide) on one day I had a bit of a hard time exiting the parking. On one night there was a group of men outside next to my room smoking weed so I told the front desk and they immediately resolve the issue. I saw at least one homeless person each day outside of hotel but there was also police around the area and I did feel safe walking during day time. The pool was fun my kids had fun. No breakfast included but there is great food within walking distance.

This is a relatively modern and very clean property; we had a family room which included a small kitchen area and sofa as well as two good sized beds. We could not fault the room or the quality of service, and the included breakfast was great for the price. The only things that detracted from our stay were (1) some very loud neighbours after the state fair and (2) our disappointment that Paso Robles itself was not quite as interesting as the marketing had led us to expect but neither of these were things that Holiday Inn could control. We were on a US West Coast road trip and this was to break up our journey from Carmel to Santa Barbara. If we do a similar trip in future we’ll stay in Morro Bay instead.

Nice modern newer hotel in Atascadero, convenient for visiting Paso Robles, Morro Bay, SLO and Avila Beach (as long as you have a car). Minutes from the 101. PROS: Plenty of free parking, well lit. Modern, clean, newer hotel with up-to-date decor. Friendly front-desk person. Pool, gym, business center and breakfast included. Nice spacious breakfast area. Wall Street Journal available in lobby. Quiet stay until our last night when we had to call the front desk twice when a rabble of people were being very loud on our floor after 'Quiet Hours'. Vending machines and small shop with essentials available downstairs. CONS: I was not impressed that they don't offer housekeeping/a room refresh unless you're staying more than 5 days, although there was the option to ask for new towels at the front desk. When you're paying around the $200/night mark, you expect to come back at the end of a busy day to have at least your bed made and the room refreshed. I was told that 'People like the fact nobody enters the room while they're gone'. While this is one advantage, this is basically post-Covid corporate greed speak for 'It's a good excuse to not spend money and hire people to clean and make back some money we lost'. If I don't get my room cleaned, I might as well rent a room in someone's house through an on-line app. Breakfast food was your typical hotel chain buffet with sugary yogurts, cheap breads/bagels, rubbery eggs, brown spotted bananas, etc. When are hotels going to start offering more quality food? At least it's something to put in your belly before you go out for the day and you don't have to traipse the streets looking for breakfast. All-day coffee and tea in the lobby would be a nice touch like some other chains offer. I found the bathroom dimly lit, despite a light around the mirror. Clean Hotel, Great Breakfast, Overall good stay. Only issue was that my tv was not working in my room and my tub wasn’t able to stay clogged, the water drained. I mentioned it to the front desk staff and they were aware of it, Manuel was really helpful and was very kind and generous to help me move my items to my room since I am disabled. He went up and tried to work the things out and I ended up getting a different room. Very happy with this stay and will be back in September!

The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable.

Best Hotel I have fell into in long while. Every amenity one can imagine in the room, all doors are 3 steps from one’s car ( if on ground floor-recommend), vegetation looks like a garden park, and staff is impeccable. I will fall into here again! Ah, and $5 coupon to Margie’s Diner on property. If you need a getaway office for a day or two, this is the place!

Really great location and the room and amenities were so thoughtfully picked. Even though we only stayed one night we will stay there again ☀️
