This hotel is beautiful. It’s on a hill just above Dryos. The positioning is high end and a high % of the clients were 20s/30s American couples. The rooms and public spaces are stylish and minimal. We stayed in Laurel and Oregano both lovely with marginal preference for Oregano. The private pools are fun and the main pool lovely and calm. The staff are charming and helpful and the housekeeping is diligent. The whole place has very relaxing vibe and the view is stunning. Things to know: Probably worth renting a car on arrival at the port then you have complete freedom to go to the local village (Anna’s), Golden Beach, Lefkas and Naoussa. You also save time and money. We went very early in the season and I don’t think they have got the food offering right. Breakfast is acceptable but with a decent bakery just down the hill we were surprised that it wasn’t better. Dinner appears to be shipped in as you need to specify your selection by 4pm and it’s very overpriced. However don’t let either of these things prevent you from choosing the hotel because on all other aspects it’s excellent.

Where to even begin. We travelled to Greece for 10 days and spent 5 days in Paros at Calme Boutique Hotel. From the moment we arrive, I could tell that we were somewhere special. Firstly, the staff were incredible. Always so attentive. Breakfast was Included with our stay and it was by far the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. Endless options, amazing patio with incredible view while you eat and most importantly fresh and local food. They were great with food allergies. Prior to my arrival, I mentioned I had celiacs disease (no gluten) and they kindly made sure to have gluten free bread for me every morning and made sure my meal was prepared gluten free. The room was perfect. Clean, minimal and so comfortable. During our 5 day stay, our room was cleaned twice daily, which was fantastic. We loved our private pool and view just steps from our bed. Theres truly nothing that could have been improved during our stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing and elegant place to stay this hotel is for you. We think Calme boutique hotel really made our vacation extra special and we are dreaming about the next time we can come back. Emily and Kevin

We felt very isolated in a very rural location, the prices were very high even for islands of mainland Greece (Mykonos' was far cheaper even in a five star hotel and there was no atmosphere. Basic facilities compared to Mykonos, Santorini and I Imagine places like Naousa and Parikia,

Where to begin? Sadly, this property fell way short of being a 5-star establishment, and in no way matched our previous experiences in 5-star hotels. We arrived at the hotel in an uneasy silence and were shown to our rooms by the helpful guides. Upon arriving at the hotel, it was plain to see that the reservation we had booked (the Oregano Premier Sea Room View with Private Swimming Pool), was a mistake. The Swimming pool and Suite was anything but private and the view was far from premier (you could barely see the sea from your ‘suite’). The location of the hotel is far removed from the tourist areas, with the local transport links very limited and the only options which the hotel kept reiterating were private hire (which we did do) and local taxis which were very expensive. We returned after an evening to Naousa to what we were promised would be a calm relaxing evening, it was anything but. The air conditioning in the room we had left on to ensure the room was cold when we got back, was very limited and was far away from the bed, we called reception to help with this and they came out and ‘helped’ us with this, but the air conditioning could still not be felt. However upon dealing with our query, to our horror we found out a staff member had used a path situated on the property to get into the front of the suite, the privacy that had been advertised wasn’t that staff was going through the terrace and using the path to deal with ourselves, other guests and to return to their quarters which we then heard them converse loudly throughout the evening. The small TV that was in the room kept cutting out throughout the night and a member of staff came out three times to try to get it to work, the shower head was very small and inadequate, especially for a 5-star hotel. The shutters for the suite swung open just as myself and my partner went to go to sleep, which made a very loud noise and staff had to come out twice to get the issue resolved, finally handing me a key to lock it, surely this should have been inside the door when we arrived at the property? After the unpleasant issues that had occurred throughout the evening, we were offered a free upgrade which was later withdrew, as we were then left to attempt to sleep, all we could hear was the staff in their quarters talking loudly throughout the evening and the incessantly loud fridge. My partner and I having barely slept at all in the property, combined with the lack of privacy, the substandard facilities and the unease in the atmosphere led to us no longer feeling comfortable or at ease staying at the property and we left the following morning. Our reservation was to stay there for four nights; however, we checked out after one night. We were then shocked to see the property readvertising the suite on *********** on the day we checked out, It appears the property has charged 2 sets of guests for 3 nights in the property yet are refusing even a partial refund for our stay. We don’t wish fo

The Calme on Paros was one of four hotels we stayed in on our Greece trip and our personal favorite! The view was beautiful and room was clean/comfortable. The private pools provided great views and felt quite secluded. The breakfast and room service lunch were both delicious. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful in assisting us with our stay. Against the advice of most reviews, we opted not to rent a car. The hotel shuttle was able to take us to/from the beach (although with limited hours during the day) and the small village of Drios is walkable for dinner albeit with a bit of climb up the hill. The hotel was able to arrange taxis for us to go into Naousa for $40 each way. Overall, the Calme is a beautiful hotel and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing Paros experience!

This was the most luxurious hotel we stayed at in Greece. Our room was beautiful and extremely clean. Our towels were changed out regularly, including the ones for the pool. The turn down service was a lovely touch. The hotel (and most reviews) really push to have you rent a car because the island does not have a lot of taxis. After a bad experience renting a car on another island, we opted to not rent a car and rely on taxis and the hotel "shuttle." We really ended up not having an issue but our stay was short. The hotel arranged a transfer for us from and to the ferry, as well as to and from Naousa. The only downside was we had to give the times 24 hours in advance. The hotel provides a ride to and from the beach during the hours 11a-1p with pick up from 3-4p. You are also able to walk into the town of Drios which has a few shops and restaurants. Beware it's downhill (but that means the walk back is uphill!). The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. They helped us arrange dinner reservations and were always waiting to greet us. Valeria was an absolute doll and our favorite person at the hotel. We had our own pool and greatly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the Calme.

Stayed in a room just below the restaurant with a private pool. The room was ok but a little on the small side. No privacy as anyone could walk up to our area without notice or warning. Nice comfy double bed. Nice size bathroom and wardrobe space. You can ask for more hangers if you need but ladies if you’re taking long dresses the wardrobe won’t accommodate the length and they’ll be crinkled on the bottom. The bathroom is ok but no shower curtain or door. Hairdryer is available. It has a small kitchen area with sink and mini bar fridge. It has a coffee machine with shot sized coffee cups. Everything else you had to ask for. No kettle or cutlery. Mini bar was expensive. They had a tv in the room but it looked like a postage stamp as it was so small. The private pool area was nice but the pool was about 12ft long and 10ft wide. It also has a shallow end and deeper end which was weird. More like a plunge pool. The view from the area was beautiful however from the pool you couldn’t see much as the plants were in the way. Our pool was overlooked by the staff quarters and the wall separating us from the communal pool could be overlooked by other guests as well as straight into our room. No curtains, just shutters and the door ones didn’t close properly. Some evenings they would blow open in the wind. 2 sun lounges which were plastic moulds are ok but we swapped ours out to a more conventional ones. They do give you a choice of pillow and all the information you need is available by QR codes in the room. You can talk directly to the team via WhatsApp and they do provide all you ask for. The staff are really good and nothing is too much trouble. Elizabeth was very welcoming on arrival and the rest of staff were great. Most of the guys were called George. The George who looked after us at breakfast was brilliant. We had a meal in the restaurant on the final night and Chloe looked after us really well. You couldn’t fault the food. It was amazing, very tasty but somewhat over priced along with the drinks. Breakfast is set with beautiful views of Naxos and Ios as well as the Golden Beach. The menu is on a butterfly shaped board and caters for all. You could order the entire lot if you wanted. The hotel is modern and very clean. It is at the top of a hill and Dryos isn’t too lively so the nearest restaurant and bar is about 15 mins walk down the hill. Not too bad but it is for coming back as it is steep in places. Noussa and Parokia are good places to visit so a hire a car or ATV is a must as there are only 30 taxis on the island and these are not cheap. Overall this hotel has so much potential and I believe in 5 or 10 years this will be an amazing place to stay reaching 5 stars. It needs some fine tuning on the finer detail and for what you pay to stay the quality of furniture, doors and lay out should be more upmarket. The huge stumbling block for this hotel is if you don’t have a vehicle you will be stuck here and the hill is a maj

Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly smile by Elisabeth and she showed us to our room and delivered our suitcases. As we had arrived late we ordered room service, the food was nice but not value for money as there was not much of it. We had a couple of bottles of wine that were also via room service which I must say were very nice. The room (oregano) was lovely but small things make a big difference when a hotel is graded 5 star. Unfortunately, for me , it didn’t quite make the grade, little things like the wardrobe, not long enough to hang my dresses properly. No do not disturb facility, so staff could come up the stairs to the veranda at any time, also the veranda was overlooked by the staff quarters and the kitchen, therefore while we were sunbathing or swimming we could be seen. The communal pool wall was also adjacent to us and people were able to look directly into our room and outside space. There are no curtains in the room only shutters on the outside of which ours did not close properly and blew open on a couple of nights because it was so windy. Housekeeping was very good and left things spotless with lovely fresh sheets and towels daily but they didn’t always leave a bin liner in the bathroom bin or leave our daily bottle of complimentary water which I had to ask for more than once. The coffee pods (illy) not always replenished and coffee cups the size of an egg cup was all that was in the room initially. I like a proper cup of coffee in the morning and my partner likes a cup of tea, no tea bags in the room, so we went out and bought some along with some milk from the shop at the bottom of the hill. This said, I asked for a kettle and some proper cups and they were bought to the room in an instant. I know this all sounds a bit negative but I feel I have to give a true reflection of what I thought, although these things are only simple, it’s the little things that make a difference and shouldn’t be an issue for such a luxury property. The positives are that the views are stunning, everything is spotless, the staff are very kind and helpful. We asked for an ATV for a couple of days and the staff organised that for us. We travelled out to Lefkes, Parakia, Naoussa and Monastri beach, all not to be missed. We had dinner in the restaurant on our final evening and I must say the food from the restaurant on the outdoor terrace was absolutely stunning with beautiful views of Naxos in the evening light. Breakfast was lovely, a simple menu that you had to order singularly each item that you wanted and the quality was lovely, always served with a smile. As the hotel is situated a good 15 minute walk up hill from Dryos beach and the closest restaurants I would suggest hiring a vehicle unless you want to keep walking up and down the hill in the heat. As the location was quite remote I found that added a degree tranquility to the hotel which for me was perfect. I am glad we experienced Calme Boutique and we did have a lovely holiday , it j

My husband and I recently spent a glorious 12 days in Greece! For our last four days we stayed in Paros at the exquisite Calme Boutique Hotel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were enveloped in the peace and calm of this unique property and met with the highest levels of service. Beautiful, serene, and romantic, this intimate 14-suite hotel - with our completely private plunge pool - exceeded our expectations. The view was fantastic! Our room, which was larger than the average hotel room, was sp****ly decorated yet simple and elegant. The bed and bedding were luxurious. The staff, whose names and faces I still remember vividly, were warm, responsive, and committed to ensuring that every need or desire we had was met. From suggesting the best beaches, a great Gyro, restaurant for dinner, to instant directions on our phones, the Calme team provided exceptional customer service. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner under the stars overlooking the Aegean Sea at the hotel’s restaurant, Seven Senses. While I am not typically a breakfast person, Calme made their inclusive breakfast something to be excited about with an extensive menu which included fresh baked croissants. Calme Boutique Hotel is a special place for discerning travelers. If you’re looking for a romantic experience off the beaten path that allows you to let go, unwind, and feed your soul Calme is the place for you.
