Palacio Can Marques

Palma de Mallorca|0.19km from 453-Plaça de la Reina (Catedral)
Our stay at Palacio Can Marques was the absolute highlight of our trip to Mallorca! Do not hesitate to book this luxe, charming, elegant, and incredibly unique property. PROS: The suites were amazing - large, spotless, incredibly comfortable. It does feel like you're staying at a (albeit) wealthy friend's mansion - not some cookie cutter hotel that you've stayed in many time before. I stayed in the Eden suite and it was heaven. The suite was so beautifully appointed. I was so inspired by the design of the space. The suite even had its own private elevator. I never wanted to leave!!!! The location - also amazing in every way! I have a minor foot injury and I didn't have to worry at all about covering the sights of Palma as everything was 5 minutes walking away - or less. It's in the heart of Old Town Palma. There are incredible restaurants of every price level, bars, coffee shops, boutiques, all within steps of the beautiful front door. You are also steps to the gorgeous cathedral and palace. What was also great about the hotel's location is that several tours that I booked picked up just a few steps away. It was so easy to meet them without going far or getting lost trying to find them. Same with the paella cooking class that I booked - the location was around the corner about a 3 minute walk away. The common areas of the hotel are gorgeous all around. Go to the rooftop for a drink and see the cathedral all lit up and the port from your bar stool. The leafy courtyard every morning for breakfast was a dream. It was a nice little respite from the hustle of the city. The same goes with the lobby. My feet needed a break from walking and I was able to find a quiet spot for tea in the afternoon -- but once I was ready to hit the city again everything was just outside the door in the gorgeous alleys of Old Town Palma. I'm saving the best PRO for last - which was the service. To the breakfast staff every morning - THANK YOU. Your friendly service each morning was a great start to each vacation day. Thank you to the chefs who put out a delicious breakfast spread each morning with all sorts of egg dishes, pastries, breads, and fresh fruit juices. To housekeeping: the entire place was spotless. The cleanliness of the hotel really stands out from other properties that I have stayed at. To the female general manager, I believe: I'm sorry I did not get your name, but you were always welcoming and gracious and made me and my husband feel warm and welcomed each time we saw you. We stayed at a different property on the island for the first part of our trip and there was a stark contrast from the general manager there to the one here. It's nice to feel welcomed and not a nuisance when you have to ask a basic question. A very special shoutout to Edi, Abde and Antonia! I saw you guys multiple times during my stay and your hospitality really stands out. Edi - thank you for helping my husband with a cup of tea that he needed when he wasn't feeling

Can Bordoy Grand House & Garden

If you're looking for a luxurious and unique getaway in Palma de Mallorca, look no further than Can Bordoy Hotel. Tucked away in the heart of the city, this boutique hotel is a hidden gem that will captivate you from the moment you step through its doors. One of the first things that struck me about Can Bordoy Hotel was its exquisite design. The hotel is housed in a beautifully restored 16th-century mansion, and the attention to detail is simply breathtaking. From the carefully curated art pieces to the ornate furnishings, every corner of the hotel is a visual treat. The rooms at Can Bordoy Hotel are equally impressive. Each one is individually designed with its own distinct character, blending modern amenities with historic charm. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms are well-appointed with luxurious toiletries. I especially loved the unique features such as exposed wooden beams and original stone walls that added a sense of authenticity to the experience. The service at Can Bordoy Hotel is top-notch. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. From arranging restaurant reservations to providing insider tips on the best places to visit in Palma de Mallorca, the team went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable. One of the highlights of my stay at Can Bordoy Hotel was the stunning courtyard. This hidden oasis is a tranquil retreat from the bustling city, with lush greenery, comfortable seating, and a beautiful swimming pool. It's the perfect place to relax with a book, enjoy a glass of wine, or simply take in the peaceful ambiance. Another standout feature of Can Bordoy Hotel is its gastronomic offerings. The hotel's restaurant, Botànic, offers a culinary journey that showcases the best of Mediterranean cuisine with a modern twist. The dishes are beautifully presented and bursting with flavors, and the wine selection is extensive. I also loved the breakfast, which featured a delightful spread of fresh fruits, pastries, and local specialties. The location of Can Bordoy Hotel is also a major plus. It's situated in Palma de Mallorca's historic Old Town, just a short walk from iconic landmarks such as the Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma and the Royal Palace of La Almudaina. There are also plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars nearby, making it a convenient base for exploring the city. Overall, my experience at Can Bordoy Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of its historic charm, impeccable service, outstanding gastronomy, and prime location made it a truly memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a unique and indulgent experience in Palma de Mallorca. I can't wait to return and create more cherished memories at Can Bordoy Hotel.

Puro Hotel Oasis Urbano

My friend and I shared a twin room The hotel is like a maze of delights. On our floor there was a plunge pool and across the road is a jacuzzi We had one night and had to stay another as BA cancelled our flights. The service was great, the breakfast just perfect and on our last day….The beach club with the pool was such fun. The hotel is well placed and close to the main shopping area and Cathedral . We certainly didn’t need a car and enjoyed much of Palma by foot. I cannot recommend this quirky, contemporary hotel more. When next in Palma, I will definitely book this hotel again.
Ocho Suites & Kitchen

We had such a good time staying at Ocho Suites & Kitchen!! The deluxe suite was super spacious with two bathrooms and all the equipment you need for a great holiday. Loved the design interior, the pink and blue tiles on the bathroom and the gold details throughout the apartment. The location is also perfect as you find restaurants, cafes, shopping and the beach right outside the front door. Also a big thanks to Javier - he is a fantastic host! (And don't forget to check out the beautiful rooftop!)
Hotel Can Cirera
4.6/563 Reviews
We stayed at Hotel Ca’n Cirera for a night whilst visiting Palma. The hotel is in the perfect location for sightseeing with the cathedral practically next door! You’re also only a short walk from fantastic bars and restaurants and most of the main sights the city has to offer. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful old manor house and has remained faithful to the history of the building. However the rooms were noise proofed and were comfortably fitted out with everything you could need. There is also a great little cafe in the inner courtyard which is its own oasis of calm and a lovely spot to have a coffee. However the star of the whole experience was the hotel manager Mariana.
Brondo Architect Hotel

Dear Brondo team, Thank you SO MUCH for making my birthday weekend so memorable!!! I had gathered friends from Paris, London (and even NY) to Palma to celebrate my 35th birthday weekend. The hotel is great with trendy decoration in the rooms and an ideal location. (20min walm away from harbor to bo on a boat; a few minutes away from Santa Catalina spots, I recommand Santa restaurant and Sala Luna for dancing). Thank you to the Brondo team for making my Friday welcome dinner so memorable (with the amazing decoration!!) and also for the kindness of the staff who was always so attentive and working to make our lives easier. Many thanks to Sara at the reception in particular. Please do not hesitate and book Brondo for your visit to Palma!
Hotel Can Cera
4.7/568 Reviews
We had a wonderful stay at Can Cera while escaping the cold wet British weather in February. It is such a lovely place and its size and space make it feel as if you are staying in a grand house, which we loved. The public areas are lovely places to sit, and the room we had was very comfortable. We felt so at home and totally relaxed from the moment we arrived, and the staff are really excellent. We were looked after very well and the breakfast was great. We'd recommend the hotel to anyone, and its location is perfect for exploring the old town, and sitting in the squares with a drink watching the world go by. We'll be back!
