What an amazing hotel It was one of the hotel we loved the most during our trip in India + Amazing location Amazing property Amazing rooms Amazing staff Amazing service Amazing tours (the village tour is just great) Amazing food and cocktails Amazing common areas The ***ager is really nice and really professional he does the extra mile to make his clients happy - A better answer to our email during the preparation of our trip would have been great, we stayed only one night because of the lack of answers but if we have known how great was the area and the hotel we would have stayed longer… for instance we would have stayed longer if we have known that it was pretty easy to do a tour in Jodhpur based from the hotel… This is the only thing I can list in the negative points, if you plan to go to Jodhpur you have to go in this incredible hotel. I recommend this hotel 100% it was one of the highlight of our trip

This small hotel is beautifully set, the rooms are large, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, the food was great, as were the cocktails! When there was a problem with the hot water, the ***ager was determined to fix it. At times it was difficult to find staff, for example in the sundowner lounge and main reception, but that was not a major issue. We were so lucky to have Shakti, who is also one of the two ***agers, as our guide. He was so knowledgeable about local culture and wildlife. Shakti had developed lovely relationships with the local Bishnoi and Brahmin communities and we felt very privileged to be invited into their homes. There were no other tourists and it did not feel like the local people were being exploited. Shakti knew where to find the animals and we got very close to antelopes, with no other jeeps or tourists in sight. He is passionate about protecting the animals and the environment. We heard that he fought off some wild dogs that were attacking antelope earlier that morning. We learnt so much, and he was definitely the best guide we had on our trip.

This boutique hotel has some of the finest accommodation. Large suites with all the required amenities. I think the best thing about this place are the staff. Starting with the Senior Gm. Followed by Shakthi Singh who was abundantly helpful with his knowledge of the site and its surroundings. Our very special thanks to Khanna Ra***d Chain Singh for their prompt and courteous service. Chef Bahadur Singh for the great food. All the meals served were first class. Thanks to all the other staff who played a role in making our stay most enjoyable.

Absolutely stunning hotel with great attention paid to little details. We had the suite, which was very big, with a heated pool which the peacocks loved! The main pool is not heated. There are fantastic view over the countryside from the dining terrace e and all the rooms. The village safari was excellent as was the local walk with an amazing guide who was very knowledgeable about the fauna and flora. This place is very special. It’s an hour from Jodhpur so you can stay in and drive into the city. An oasis of calm and tranquility with wonderful charming staff

We spent a night at this beautiful castle styled 5 star resort near Jodhpur in the desert. The room was huge and had a private pool. There is a larger pool next to the restaurant. The resort is filled with special designs and touches and has lovely areas to walk around. We also went for a walk to their horse stables and into the desert coming across camels and birds. The dinner was great as well.

What a stunning boutique hotel! It is like an oasis in the middle of the desert - so beautiful and one of the most photogenic places you can imagine. We had one of the downstairs suites with a plunge pool (although the pool was a little chilly we still ***aged a quick dip). The suite was enormous and beautifully decorated, private and peaceful. Dinner was under the stars beside a roaring fire and was delicious. There was a wide selection of Indian and international dishes to choose from. With the full board you can choose whatever you like from the menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. We visited the horse stables and had a walk through the desert and otherwise just relaxed. Just perfect!

This was the 1st hotel on our trip (Ideally it should have been the last, my bad.). I had read articles about it and seen photos of it, so when it came time to make bookings for our trip to Jodhpur, this was a place I wanted to stay at (Also Umaid Bhawan was too expensive for me). We almost missed our flight but when we eventually did get there, we were blown away. The Hotel/Fort is simple yet elegant and simply mind blowing when you first see it. The fact that it has been purpose built only 15 years ago is even more amazing. We fell in love with the hotel, the vibe, the Decor especially which the lady of the house has carefully ***icured. Like i said, i had seen photos and read reviews but the actual experience was beyond what I had expected. The room was HUGE! with a private lap pool and a separate 1st floor private terrace. There were a few rooms which were booked but we felt like we were the only ones there, it was that quiet and peaceful. The food is amazing and the hospitality, even better. The only way you can be disappointed here is by going there with the expectation that this is like any other 4/5 star hotel with lots of activities and amenities. Its a place for people who want and enjoy solitude and great conversations. My family did not want to leave and my kids kept running inside to hide or to stay bye to the rooms and the hotel, that’s how much they loved it. The ***ager, Mr. Bhupendra also guided us with regards to places to shop or check out at jodhpur which was helpful as most guides/drivers have connections and commissions with shops. The dining staff especially went out of the way to make things that weren’t on the menu to accommodate us and our kids. Overall, Simply an amazing 2 days.

Just back from a stay at Mihir Garh and the experience exceeded our expectations. We love staying at boutique hotels like these across the country and would definitely rate Mihir Garh as being one of the best so far. We stayed in the Alishan suite with the plunge pool. What makes a hotel great are the small things. Fresh flowers in the public area every day, diyas lit in the evening, turndown service to live musicians playing as we swam in the exquisite hotel pool, it is this small attention to detail that goes a long way. The staff were all really courteous and we loved the short trip to spot blackbucks and birds in the evening as well as a trip to the hotel's stables. If there was one thing that I could point to for adjustment it would be the food program. The hotel has an a la carte menu and since we were the only guests in the hotel, that means a kitchen has to be ready to dish out any of the 50 dishes on the menu at a moment's notice. The end result is that the food was good at all meals but not great. A better way to do this during off season time would be to work with a Menu du Jour or a days special menu where guests are served a selection of freshly prepared dishes daily ensuring no wastage, ease of operations and an exciting new menu every day. The breakfast on all days was very nice. All in all a great, luxurious experience. Would highly recommend!
