InCanto
4.4/530 Reviews
I had a tough time giving InCanto an average rating, because it was definitely not average. The good qualities were really great, but the bad qualities were really bad. First the good - The room was large & comfortable, located right in the middle of everything, a few steps away from the famous Four Corners. I loved the breakfast every day delivered right to our room. Lots of great places to eat and drink, and sights to see, just a short walk in every direction. Now the bad - InCanto is difficult to find, since the main entrance, the one with a sign, is inside a private building up on the 2nd floor (or 3rd floor for Americans.) There is no signage on the main streets, and only a tiny sign once you find the otherwise generic door located down an alley. I asked many locals for directions when I was only 1 -2 blocks away, and nobody had ever heard of it. The Four Corners is very close, and very LOUD. Live music starts early in the morning and continues until late at night. Well after midnight, after the music stops, people walk through the streets shouting & kicking beer bottles. It's never quiet, and you easily hear all the noise from inside the room with all the doors & windows closed. The front desk is only staffed in the morning, so when we could not find the place in the afternoon to check in, nobody was there to answer the phone. There's no elevator and no help, so be prepared to carry all of your own luggage up two flights of narrow stairs. We had a misunderstanding regarding our bill. It worked out fine in the end, but we couldn't just go to the front desk to fix it, we had to do everything online, so something that would have normally taken two minutes wind up taking half a day. Our room had a nice wood floor, but there were tiny nails sticking up through the floor. We normally don't wear shoes inside, but after having the nails tear our socks and poke the soles of our feet, we had to keep our shoes on. For me, the negatives outweighed the positives, and I would not stay here again or recommend this place to anyone else.
Hotel Columbia

Stayed here for 7-nights with my mum. The hotel is centrally based with easy access to everything. Walking distance to the cathedral and to the harbour where we found a lovely beach bar. So many restaurants within east walking distance serving Sicilian delights. All of the staff are amazing - very helpful, courteous and lovely. Giuseppe was particularly wonderful and extremely helpful. The rooms are basic, but you aren’t paying the price of a 5-star hotel - the beds are comfortable and the rooms are cleaned and replenished everyday. Everything you need for a base and a good nights sleep. The continental breakfast has a great choice and is very filling. The young waitress is attentive and polite. Perfect base for exploring the wonderful city of Palermo.
Eurostars Centrale Palace Hotel

The best hotel~ I couldn't understand why the price was so cheap. The room was big and very clean. The sheets were really clean and comfortable. dimensional The location, pocket tissue beach, and blanket provided were useful when it was a bit cold. The various rooms on the second floor had an elegant and classic style. Since breakfast is not included, I ate it for 10 euros on the last day (this is a bit strange - the hotel reservation site informed me that you can eat it for 12 euros).
Quintocanto Hotel & Spa

The hotel has an excellent location, adjacent to the famous Sijiaochang, in the most prosperous street in the city center, close to the railway station, airport buses, and main attractions. Within 15 minutes’ walk, the breakfast is rich, the service is very good, and the hotel has a courtyard. The room we stayed in, the bathroom is also big, it is the best choice for traveling to Palermo
Palazzo Cavarretta
3.8/54 Reviews
Palazzo Cavarretta is located in a very central position, just a few minutes walk from the main city monuments (Cathedral, Palazzo dei Normanni, Quattro Canti, Tatro Massimo, etc.). Very elegant historic building but unfortunately also a little (a lot) neglected. It does have a lift though, which is a nice plus. The rooms overlook Via Maqueda, a pedestrian street full of shops and restaurants / bars: very lively but also a little noisy. The B&B is very welcoming, tastefully furnished and comfortable. Overall absolutely to be recommended
Suite Quaroni

The charming location, located in the centre of Palermo, is ideal for anyone who wants to visit the city's main monuments and to find restaurants and fast food open at any time. The room is very clean, it is equipped with a full kit of bathroom, shampoo and cream, and the shower is wide and modern. The staff is very kind, they have welcomed us from the convenient garage, bringing us into the structure, giving us all information about the city and how to move. The room is equipped with a coffee machine with many pads, of course offered by the structure. I am sure that when I come back to Palermo, it will be my choice again.
