The rooms were OK nothing great and seemed clean but water waste could be avoided with newer toilet and shower valves. This non water waste had a sticker in the bathroom. The breakfast was serve yourself and very basic. The pool looked clean but the spa had an baby in it with a diaper on and the grown ups [parents?] didn't care but we did. All in all very pricey for what we got and the add on taxes/fees really kicked up the price...beware.

The location of the hotel is very good, very close to Lovers point, but the hotel facilities are a bit old.

The room is relatively old, but the overall space is large and the environment is good. There is an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor sauna, which is very good.

Quiet area. Half mile from trails along the ocean and amazing tide pools. Spacious room with fireplace and balcony. Pool, hot tub and sauna were great!
Downtown Pacific Grove has a great restaurants-- International Cuisine had excellent Cioppino. At just under 1 mile away, this was a walkable destination. Near Cannery row, we visited Paprika Cafe and had delicious hummus and falafels. Monarch sanctuary wasless than quarter mile away from the hotel. Visited in February and still saw a hundred or more monarchs flying around.

The first night the room had a leak from the ceiling, we had to be moved to another room in the middle of the night. Staff responded to our call, however, did not compensate us for the inconvenience we experienced. Will not stay here in the future.

Price is very reasonable for a very well furnished room, clean service rooms and for a decent hotel. Staff was kind and helpful. I would recommend highly.

The property is an older property, but the rooms are clean and the staff is nice. We have stayed here many times before and we like it. It is quiet, safe and centrally located. It is a good value.
