I loved loved loved the size of this room! This was one of the biggest hotel rooms. I’ve had a while. I visited Japan and it was so nice and spacious. The hotel is old so don’t expect modern set ups as the bathroom is old and there’s no USB plug-ins for phones and gadgets.
I was very happy that this hotel offered free and unlimited access to their Hot Springs on the 14th floor. They were very nice. It was also very traditional so that means no clothes and absolutely no tattoos allowed.
The location of this hotel was very nice. It was far from the hustle and bustle of the major tourist places, but not too far. It’s only two stops away from Nipponbashi Station which will get you to everywhere you want to go. It was about a five minute walk to the metro to about three different lines. Also the area it was in had a lot of restaurants, convenience stores, pharmacies, pretty much anything you need was around and for better prices than the tourist areas. It was much more local and a pleasant experience in that area.
The only downside was the amenities of this hotel. If you wanted to use the pool or gym it cost extra and laundry was also an extra service and for a huge hotel this size there was no laundry machines that you could use by yourself for extra money instead they gave directions to a laundromat that was quite a walk away. To improve this hotel, I would definitely set up some laundry machines for guests to access by themselves because I stayed during New Year’s and the laundry service was suspended.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again if I come back to Osaka.
