We had booked a cabin which we realised was probably on the back row so we called and managed to change to one on the front. What a good move that was. When we first arrived we went to the main hotel to check in, not realising that for the cabins, there’s a separate place to check in - another cabin! We were given directions and off we went. Check in sorted we parked the car at the back of our cabin and went straight in to have a look. Wow, these cabins are just gorgeous, they may not be very big but they are perfect, a double bed, bunk beds, a small bathroom with everything you’d need plus a basic kitchen area. The main thing however, is the view, which is just stunning. It doesn’t get any better. We’d heard varying reports about eating up at the main hotel so decided to pick something up on the way. We also played it safe and bought some paper plates and cutlery. A good job we did as there is nothing in the little kitchen apart from the fridge and microwave! But that night we popped a lasagne in the microwave and sat and ate it at the table with the best view ever. The following morning we set an alarm and got up to watch the sunrise. Amazing. Breakfast up at the main hotel was so so, staff weren’t particularly happy, it was quite crowded, but we had a little food to start the day off. Absolutely loved our night here, we sat, just chilling, enjoying the stunning scenery from our little cabin, bliss. (On a side note, the WiFi was very hit and miss, not that we particularly wanted it but if anyone does it’s just something to bear in mind)
