A really lovely carvery meal today and recently have never been disappointed......owners are really making the Newburgh Inn one of the most attractive, welcoming establishments in our area.There's great food, lovely staff, nice ambiance and very competitive prices. Not easy to achieve so WELL DONE,...what a team.

Delicious midweek meal. We were welcomed in and shown a table near the log burner . I had macaroni with the triple cooked chips . It did not disappoint . My son had the chicken burger , he thoroughly enjoyed this . We both managed dessert , crème brûlée and a chocolate brownie . Service was prompt and friendly . I regularly visit The Newburgh Inn for both lunch and dinner and have always enjoyed the menu . Something for everyone .

Rooms are freshly decorated and have piping hot shower . Heating in room is always on too
Great bar with wide selection of home made food and reasonable pricing for drinks .

We visited on a Saturday evening as a couple, and would not rush back. This is our second visit, as we decided to give our first poor experience the benefit of the doubt. Menu was uninspiring, and food below average, we left our main course plates more than half full. Decided to try dessert, this was also very poor. The mousse was so stodgy and bitter tasting, not light and fluffy as you would expect - this also went to waste. I heard another table complain about their food being cold. Our table was about 5 cm away from the next, we may as well of been sitting together. The staff we encountered were all very lovely, and the hotel itself was nicely decorated and had a log burner, it is such a pity the food let it down. Price does not reflect quality.

A wee bit tired but clean & tidy. Tv didn’t work but we were able to change rooms. Live music on bar was nice, limited drinks on offer as few things off/out of stock (Heineken & Gordon’s Gin……. Basics!)

Stayed here twice in September. Easy journey into Aberdeen by car and 2 min walk to lovely beach. Fantastic food, lovely beer garden, breakfast delicious, comfortable rooms, lovely staff. Thank you very much!

I love how close it was to Newburgh beach. Good value for money. Kids park could be updated but kids menu was good. We would return. Family of 4.

Room was very clean and smelled fresh, had all that you needed - tea/coffee , hair dryer etc, bed was really comfortable, en-suite was very clean and the towels were really soft.
The staff were really nice, friendly and very accommodating.
The food was delicious - we had an evening meal and the free breakfast in the lovely restaurant which is also dog friendly.
When the restaurant area was closed, you could use the bar.
It had an outdoor area and parking facilities.
Really enjoyable accommodation/stay and would definitely recommend it !

Rooms a good size, clean and biscuits replenished for rhe 2nd day a nice touch other hotels don't do.
Food choice was variable and tasty
Breakfast service and flavour was the best ive had on my travels for more that 2 years with 25+ business trips in that time
