On Friday, I had a break, so I hurriedly booked a plan for staying without meals. It is a mountain room in the pond building, within 1 Person 1 10,000 yen. In the evening 17 I arrived at half past half, but the shops near Hakone Yumoto Station were almost closed. The correct answer was that I was procuring side dishes in the basement of the department store in Shinjuku. The convenience store was open. There are liquor stores and Lawson near the inn. The garden was an invisible room, but it was wide 々 and the scenery was good and I could see the mountains. The cleaning was well done. The futon is a style that you lay yourself, but I was grateful that you were prepared for a split, plate, and glass, probably because of the consideration for guests staying without meals. Coffee and tea were also set. It was good that the large communal bath and the bath in the room were both hot springs. The room was a unit bath, but I didn't really care. The next morning I took a walk in the large garden. I was able to relax. Hakone Yumoto is close to 80 minutes from Shinjuku, and I think it is an affordable plan for train fares and accommodation plans for inns of this class. I want to go to stay again when I have time.

The view from the open-air bath and the feeling of liberation are very pleasant. Especially in summer, it is best to take a nap in a mist shower with a little cool feeling while basking in the sun. Care for the misplacement of cars during narrow and crowded times.

We were greeted by hotel staff upon arrival. We were not given the option to select dinner time, which was set at 8pm which was late when compared with counterparts. We were only given the option to change to 5pm on the subsequent night, which was not convenient for us. The arrangement for who gets to be seated with the forest view or not is unknown and strange. On the first night we were seated at a room without a view, which was stuffy and adjacent tables full of uncleared dishes which give rise to an unpleasant odour. The other customers sitting in the room was served food all at once encompassing shabu shabu, while sashimi bowl was offered as a buffet. We were offered a forest view on the second night. Food was served according to courses, which was average and sashimi offered was similar to what was offered in the buffet though in large pieces. Breakfast was better with Japanese and western foods available. Rooms and onsens were nice. Recommend only choose the room only option as food was really not up to standard when compared to other Japanese counterparts.

To enjoy the Infinity Pool we got up at 6 am. The facilities have a very chic design, black and gray with modern Zen lines. The view was great but wouldn't be in bad weather. Only 2 smaller jacuzzis and 5 sunbeds. Already it was pretty packed with young 20 somethings. The sunset should be fantastic. The onsen was a floor below, a large square indoor bath and one outdoor with wooden slats covering the whole view but letting in air. Nothing special. The fitness room was still closed and so was the lobby bar (Covid). We arrived after eating in Enoshima. We had a seaside room with a balcony but no seating on it; our daughter+kids had a mountain view): a smaller room with no balcony, less space and parking lot view. Our plan did include the infinity pool/onsen admission (after the Long Beach summer season closed). Breakfast was fantastic-something for everyone in a bright sunny room with ocean-view. Parking costs ¥1000.

I recommend Hakone Ashinoko Hanori Hotel. The hotel is very beautiful. The lobby has a welcome drink. However, there is no wild food nearby, and it’s good to enjoy the hot spring quietly. This package includes one stay and two meals. There are not many choices for buffet dinner, and the desserts are more attractive.
The hot springs are relatively small, so you can enjoy the outdoor hot springs, but the spring water is like hot water 😂.
The breakfast was pleasantly surprised, and there were more choices than the dinner. All in all, the hotel is very comfortable and the staff are very polite.

Very interesting archetecture, great view of Mt. Fuji and a good price were why we choose this hotel. We arrived around 6 PM and were told we couldn't use the restaurant because we didn't have a reservation. We had to drive back to interstate about 15 minutes to find something, there is nothing at all in the hotel vicinity or even a little snack shop on site! Buses very limited. The front of the hotel was nicely painted and landscaped, but the back with patio was pretty shabby. But it did have seating outside for great fresh air. Parking was free but coming back after dinner the covered parking was all full and we had to park lower level in the rain. The room had a strange layout, a 3-mat room for a passageway (luggage drop?) and a small bedroom that one person could get out of bed on one side, but the other person had to crawl over the middle of the bed in the night to get out. In the closet were 2 hard hats?? In case Fujisan starts spewing ash? I think maybe this room was the staff's emergency room when forced to stay. The public bath was disappointingly small, so got crowded quickly. And the view? Of course it rained so no view of Mt. Fuji at all. Not in the hotel's control, but left us disenchanted... 4-star hotel. I don't think so.

Excellent location - 5 minute walk to Gotemba Premium Outlets with fantastic view of Mt Fuji from hotel room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. There’s a nice bath, a cosy area at the ground floor with drinks and relaxing seats at the library for hotel guests’ use. It would have been perfect if the hotel has a fitness room.

The hotel is near nothing, so be prepared to take the shuttle to Odawara Station (40 minutes) or Nebukawa Station (7 minutes). The Odawara shuttle doesn't operate on the weekends and only runs between 10-5 pm on weekdays. The rooms have furniture that is stained and in need of an upgrade, and there are no USB ports in the rooms. All that being said, the facility is great for kids! The pool area is more like a water park with a huge bubbling pool, several calm circular pools, a bubble chair pool, an indoor/outdoor pool, and a hot tub cave. And if you aren't in the mood for swimming, they have an arcade with claw machines, gatcha machines, karaoke rooms, and a full bowling alley. The restaurants were very accommodating to our vegetarian needs but had limited choices. Overall, I would stay here again just for the pool experience - it was that good!
GGuest UserWe used it for a single night. It is a hotel near the station, but I don't hear the sound of the train and I think it is a relatively quiet environment. However, the walls of the room are thin, so I heard the sound of the voice and the door opening and closing from the corridor. The room I stayed in was room 719, and it was a room where the elevator was always heard. Thanks to the nerves, the nerves are reduced and the sleep is insufficient (-_-) The room was not so large, so the air conditioner was very good and comfortable. It is good that the bed is large and there is a reading light on the pillow. Cleanliness is perfect. Breakfast is distributed in the lobby on the first floor from around 6:30 in the morning, and you can eat it even if you bring it to your room. There are several types of lunch boxes, I think it was good to be able to choose according to my preference. In addition to lunch boxes, there were drinks, miso soup and salad.
CChunyanAs other comments, it is really hard to find the first time.
Exit from the ”East Exit” of Odawara Station and go down a small escalator first. Turn right at the Lusca shopping mall to a platform outside. Turn right into a glass door, pass through the outer corridor on the left of Seijo Ishii Supermarket, and pass a small parking lot. You can see the sign of Tensei Garden. Follow the arrow and see the dark brown building (you can also find the sign of Minaka). Go indoors on the right and see the door of Xixiang Foodstadium. Take the elevator to the fourth floor and you will see the front desk.
The hotel has a hot spring on the 10th floor. The room will provide a net bag with bath towels and split pajamas. If you have children, you will also provide children's small size split pajamas when you check in. The view outside the hotel room window is very good, and the window is sealed well so that the train will not be noisy.
It is very convenient to go to Hakone from Odawara. Buy a two-day Hakone Free Pass. From Odawara to Hakone, you can take the cable car, mountain climbing train, pirate ship, and winding bus at any time without buying another ticket. I will choose to stay here next time if I have the chance.
There are many options for dining in Odara Station or outside the station.
MMickmcWorth a short stay just to experience an authentic old Japanese residence. We had a double room that had 2 thin mattresses on traditional tatami matting which was very hard and not very comfortable for sleeping. Was extremely hot when we arrived so would have been nice to have the air conditioning already on but that was not the case - but once that had been running for a while all was good. Host was very friendly and helpful and the common area and shared bathroom were clean and well maintained. Good location just a 5 minute walk form Odawara station for connections to Hakone for day trips and the Shinkansen to Tokyo or Kyoto.
GGuest UserThe station in the hotel is a little distance away, and it is a little difficult to find at the corner of a intersection.
The door is opened with a key instead of a card. The room is the largest in the entire trip to Japan, but the bathroom is a bit small and barely squeezed in.
The hotel staff is very friendly.
The smoke in the smoking room is very big, it is recommended to choose a non-smoking room as much as possible.
There are many types of breakfast buffet, and the curry is very delicious.
GGuest UserThe young lady at the front desk is very gentle, the bed and bath room can also be simple to cook, there are also rest places, it is worth traveling with a backpack
GGuest UserI booked a room type with 2 single beds through the reservation website (it wrote that the room area is 19 square meters), and the order also indicated that I would bring a 3-year-old and 5-year-old child, but the counter staff said that there was a letter saying that it would not work (but I have not received it from beginning to end), Adhere to give us a 2-night double room (6469) or a single double room type (10690), this hard bow can only choose a cheap price increase or let us be very unhappy, the point is that we have not received the notice, and then I looked at their double room is almost 12-16 square meters, I don't know where they insist on it. I can also change the room type or change the hotel by myself if I inform me earlier. It makes people feel bad from check-in! The room is almost small in Japanese business travel. It is necessary to rest. If you can choose, you should choose the configured one. If you bring children, there are many restaurants nearby!
