Room smelt a bit of mildew/ damp. Had to find room and key was damaged so had to go back to reception. Readily given some ice in a tea towel to smooth an injured knee. Bed quite basic. Road noise in room but facing sea / river beyond. Breakfast served by teenagers and not offered toast or milk for coffee.

All staff with whom I engaged were very polite and chatty with a great friendly manner. My one and only comply was that there was no phone and internet service in the room I had been allocated. I was only there for one evening so it wasn’t really so bad. Breakfast was excellent!!

Was an average place. Clean and a good pub. Has a great view but the traffic outside was a little busy.

Food was ok but the room’s wall were so thin I could hear someone going to the toilet. Shower room was too narrow, I had to squeeze between the wash hand basin to get to the toilet. No where to put my case on except the bed. All in all not good value for money. Won’t stay again or recommend it.

Great stay at the Oyster Inn. Our food was great and the staff were very helpful and kind! Highly recommend the waffles at breakfast! Best I’ve ever had!

The accommodations were solid (not fancy/plush). That said, the restaurant and the oysters were incredible. And the hotel was just far enough from Edinburgh while on our way to Skye that we made the distance needed not a mile further on day one of driving on the left side of the road.

I had a great stay here and really enjoyed the atmosphere. My room was very comfortable and clean. The restaurant has a really great view of the water and the bar has a nice aesthetic and is popular with locals, so that’s a good sign. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would like to stay here again during future trips.
