Stayed for family wedding absolutely fabulous day. Would always recommend this hotel for family events and lunches as food is 10/10. But Saturday 18th I went into bar to order chicken ceaser salad .meet by a lovely young girl ( only there 3 weeks never got her name ) asked if I could Eat outside been hotel think that would be fine . She said I’ll ask my manager who stormed over and said no your not eating at reception I said out on patio ( which is Advertised for eating lunch on Facebook) as lovely seating area out there. To which He replied No u can’t , very rudely, I said that is Absolutely ridiculous. I giong to reception to speak to a manager. He just walked off, Samantha (manger) came and said that’s no problem at all. And brought me into bar and payed for it , the manager (Colm) seen us and stood at till with his back to me the whole time . I find it very hard to understand how someone especially manager could be so rude and speak to customer/resident like that manner in his voice and way he shouted even new waitress looked at him . After the incident a few family members where told same you can’t eat out there by staff in bar the manager said , I work hotel Industry, would never speak to customer or hotel guest that way . To be honest way he was acting would make you think a change of career would suit him better as he doesn't have the attitude for dealing with people . And would put people off coming or staying in hotel if met by this person and his attitude.

We was accommodated here for a wedding function and had a fantastic time with great service from all the staff on the 17th May. Thank you to all the staff but particularly Helen who made a valiant effort who ensured my vegetarian mother was well accommodated with variants of starters, mains and desert. We had a fantastic time and would recommend to anyone.

Was here for a family meal. 25 people. Waiting staff are the most polite I've ever come across. Impeccable manners. Nothing too much trouble..The room is lovely. As for the food..fabulous. I had caesa salad, beef and dessert medley. 10 out of 10

Live locally and sometimes bar is handy for food. So I had Irish stew. Well it was no more Irish stew than 'the man in the moon' Very little lamb. Plenty of sliced potato and two dollops of mash so all potato really and two slices of bread!. A very smart way to keep costs down. So in future a couple minutes more to the Grove where you're sure of getting what it says one the menu is probably a safer bet

This is a lovely hotel that is very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and attentive. We had a good size, comfortable and clean room with fresh decor. The bar and restaurant are beautifully furnished and the food is great. We were visiting family, but the location is great for exploring the stunning Wicklow surroundings.

Organised a Sunday private lunch for 28 people. The group comprised all ages from young children to elderly and wheelchair users and those with dietary requirements. The staff were very attentive and made the day a great success. The private room was spacious and wheelchair friendly. The on site parking and location close to the M11 made it easy for my guests to access.

A group of 15 of us a family and friends from the UK booked the parkview for food and drink and settled in to watch the rugby we all had food except one of us who wasn't hungry and we enjoyed our evening there about 9.30 when the kitchen was closed the guest was eating a bag of chips from a takeaway the manager came over and asked him not to consume the chips in the hotel which he did immediately that was fair enough. The manager sent a junior lounge girl over and asked us to pay the bill we asked for 1 more round of drinks as we settled the bill for 655 euros and were told we werent being served anymore and had to leave the so called manager hadn't even the balls to ask us himself and made himself unavailable to be questioned this is disgraceful after spending so much money in the hotel to be treated this way obvious they don't care about customers once they get the money from you

I would never use this hotel for functions again. I made enquires and visited months in advance of the birthday party I was planning. I was told I would have the full day to decorate the room. Great, this is why I booked it as it was a surprise party and I booked other events for people throughout the day, leaving my morning free to decorate. I was told I could put up whatever decor I wanted. I spent €645 on the room for hire, food for 30 people and a "cake fee". I spent a further €200 on decorations. The week before I sent an email just letting them know we'll arrive at 11am to decorate. I'm met with a response saying they booked out the room for something else during the day and never bothered to tell me about it. The whole reason i booked that room was for having the day to decorate, and here they are telling me they've gotten rid of that and never told me. And they didnt let me know on their own, oh no, they would have had me showing up decorations in hand that morning only to be sent away. And then they also told me there was suddenly now no banners, bunting, balloons, nothing allowed on any walls? Rendering half of what I bought useless, again, they never told me this, in fact I had been told the oppposite when I booked. I think the worst part was whoever was emailing me for the first like 10 or 20 back and forths about this was so inhuman, corporate, unhelpful, unapologetic. All they kept saying was "thats policy" "what do you want me to do? We make bookings" - then why did they tell me the opposite??? When someone else took over then all the sorrys came and they said they'd inform people of these things in future but that's no good to me. And the cherry on the cake: not even an offer a single free drink can you believe! Nope, paid full price. Corporate moneymaking at its finest. They promised they would decorate for me and I had no other choice but to let them because they had strung me along so long it was too late to book anywhere else. I asked and asked could they please whatsapp me a picture of the room setup before we arrived. Do you think i got that? Of course not! My guests ended up having to help with the decorations which I felt was so unfair to them. And when we finally walked in for the surprise and saw the room, to say my heart sank was an understatement. It was so sh*t. No banners, no balloon arch, only a fraction of the decorations set up, balloons half inflated. A giant blank wall And the horrible jarring flourescent main lights set to full. It was like walking into a doctors office. I was so disappointed. And again, €645 they made me pay full price for this fiasco and an additional what feels like waste €200 on decorations. I would never ever use this hotel again, I would absolutely go somewhere that would be nicer and keep their word in Greystones. What a bummer.

Thanks so much to the lovely staff at Nanny Kelly’s today who really listened to us about our daughters allergy and made sure everything was as safe as it could be for her. We were really impressed and very thankful to them. Really lovely lunch too, we all enjoyed.
