2 Star Hotels in Newport

Decent hotel, walking distance to many bars & restaurants. Lots of kids also but location is close to aquarium. seems family friendly with pool, etc. pretty quiet at night.

The hotel is in a good location with free parking. There are many restaurants next to the Ohio River. We went to the Chinese restaurant. Cincinnati is across the bridge. The riverside scenery is nice. The room is quite large, with two large beds, microwave and coffee machine. It is very clean. The air conditioner is a bit loud, especially at night. The front desk is very friendly. I said I am not good at English, so she slowed down her speech and repeated the key words. In short, it is cost-effective. The boat ticket was given to cooperate with local activities, but there were no activities in those days.

The front desk service was very kind and professional. However, our room was not very clean. The bathroom was dirty as well as the bathroom sink and our sheets. The mini refrigerator was never cleaned out and still had drinks from whoever stayed there prior to us. I have never stayed somewhere that makes you pay $9 for a cereal breakfast. Also, when we were checking in we were told that we had until 12:00 to check out. A couple of hours before, room service came and knocked on the door and asked when we were checking out. I thought this was very unprofessional. Also, the pool closes at 8, so if you have little ones, you may want to look into that more. The location was really good and the parking was very convenient.

Across the river and eight miles from downtown Cincinnati, find us close to businesses and entertainment. The Newport Aquarium is 15 minutes away. Games at the Great American Ballpark are nine miles from our hotel. Reach rides at King’s Island in 40 minutes. Our all-suites hotel includes a 24-hour fitness center and complimentary breakfast.
