Premier Inn Newcastle Airport

The Hotel’s location is very close to The Newcastle International Airport and the Metro. Just a few minutes walk can be reached. Clean with sufficient lighting is good. The bed’s quality is a bit soft and old. If it is changed, it will be better.

Very closely located next to Newcastle airport, no more than 5 min walk. Friendly check in team, clean room and option to take food from restaurant to room is very convenient for solo travelers.

Was not informed if car park charges at the time of booking ,which was an additional £7 per car per night . Also ,unusually ,the staff seemed very moody and fed up ,both in reception and bar so went elsewhere for a drink . The room was clean but the whole thing just felt a bit tired . The water pressure in the shower seemed low but was ok overall . Was woken at 6 am by a jet landing so I suspect not triple glazed as at the Heathrow hotel where you hear nothing from the airport . Plus points are it’s a short walk to the terminal and the excellent Metro service into Newcastle and beyond .

I have been to this Premier Inn a few times before. The staff are always very pleasant, helpful and friendly. The food is very good. The rooms are a good standard too. This is one of the better Premier Inns I have stared in and is obviously well managed.

We stayed here following a late return off a flight. It just felt grubby straight as you arrived in reception. Sheets appeared clean but I tried not to look round the room too closely as walking down the corridor it smelt a bit of urine. We arrived at like 2/3 am so we just slept and left. Didn't feel comfortable to use the tea making facilities.

I stayed here ready to go on a very early flight to New York it was very comfy the bed was super. The staff were very helpful and the location could not have been better I will most def stay here again if I fly from Newcastle again. I didnt sample the food as i didnt stay for breakfast but there was plenty of choice if you wanted to

Convenient location and genuinely attentive staff made it pre holiday stay worthwhile. Regrettably however the maintenance and upkeep of the hotel is not what I've come to expect from a trusted brand. Decor and carpets looking tired and in need of updating, probably not surprisingly. But the bar/restaurant toilet facilities were very poor. Premier Inn should do better.

Quick check in and room was great. Service was great in the premier inn and the restaurant. Thomas in the restaurant did a great job with the help of Kirsty. Would recommend staying here and will book again when we travel from Newcastle airport
