😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 I vigorously DO NOT RECOMMEND this "grand/ historic/ top-rated boutique hotel".!!! Upon my arrival to Bourbon Orleans Hotel, unfortunately, I encountered quite a few substandard events. To start off, the hotels' valet apprentices were NOT competent nor qualified, said information discussed at departure by ALL management. Unlawfully, my prescriptions were stolen, and this unfortunate event was agonizingly overlooked by Bourbon Orleans Hotel along with the valet service that was used. As a result of this fiasco, I spent my vacation in bed and in pain by virtue of/ thanks to this adversity. So, because of this unpredictable outcome, I requested a FULL refund from valet management, which was resolved. In addition to the prior instance, another one came about when returning home and reviewing my credit card transactions. I noticed that Bourbon Orleans Hotel charged my account. This charge was of concern to me because my balcony, loft suite was already prepaid for MONTHS IN ADVANCE through Trip.com.!!! So, management investigated this issue and assured a refund. However, they never disclosed any additional information with me in relation to this SUBSTANTIAL amount. Now, 2 weeks later I'm STILL waiting on my refund and can't seem to get management on the phone to discuss this casualty.!!! All in all, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this "supposedly" 4/5 star rated, elegant, grand, historic hotel that is named one of New Orleans Top Hotels.! Bourbon Orleans Hotel mislead me as well as fabricated information to try and cover up their erroneousness/ blunder. Honestly, if they don't want to use a third-party website to conduct business with and then TRY to charge their guests anyways, then they need to cancel their services with them. Simple as that.!!!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

This hotel is perfectly located in the French Quarter. Orleans street is one street over from Bourbon street so it is close to the music and the activities and the NOLA craziness. The best part is that the hotel is on a street that is a little quieter and safe feeling but still walking distance to Jackson Square, French Market and all of the French Quarter activities. The Bell Captain, David, knows everything about the area and will take the stress out of your New Orleans visit. All of the staff are good here and the facilities are squeaky clean. The attached bar, Bourbon O has nightly fun musicians. I promise, if you stay here you will love it! Plenty of nice wheelchair accessible rooms but like every place in the French Quarter parking is limited.

Be very careful about making flexible reservations, I tried to make a change to my booking and check in 1 day late within the allocated time frame but was unable to do this. The hotel refused to change the booking and wanted to me to cancel and rebook at a higher rate which was more than the original booking. On top of this the them charged me a non show fee, despite me informing them I would be late, and was told it wouldn’t apply.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms and great location in the hearth of French Quarter. Hotel definitely needs some renovation but overall it's nice.. we had a double- bed room.. nice, quiet and spacious with comfortable beds..bathroom needs some touch for sure.. our only concern was the 2 girls at the front desk when we checked in.. one of them was eating food and the other one was sleep on the desk.. when we woke her up, she checked us in with not a nice attitude at all. we never saw them again but the rest of the crew were very nice and friendly.. In general, I definitely recommend this hotel

Fantastic location, great staff, nice gym, comfortable beds. Rooms can get loud if you have rowdy neighbors. Great stay! Would stay again!

Great location - lovely room - checking in was very frustrating - we arrived early and assumed that we would check our bags, get lunch and come back - we were informed that our room was ready immediately, if we wanted to pay an early fee of $40 - we were then told that in 1.5 hours, we could check in for no fee - we elected to do the latter - when we returned, we were told that our room was not ready - we informed the reception desk of what the lady sitting there had told us - she immediately said, “I told you that it might be ready” - that simply was not true. We waited in the lobby for over two hours before we could check in! Additionally, the refrigerator in our bedroom did not work - we reported this to the desk - nothing was ever done. While this is a prime location, we will not stay here again. We prefer a hotel with better service and with room service. Both are available in other NOLA hotels for a similar price.

I’m so glad we stayed at this Hotel. I loved how everything was walkable from the Hotel. The restaurant and the most important place was Cafe Du Monde! We eat beignets every night. Our tours were not far from our location. The hotel was had awesome drinks and entertainment. The staff to care of us. Specially the outside staff were helpful in getting us a taxi to the Airport. Overall, l would recommend this hotel plan to come back stay here again.

The staff and service were excellent! The concierge Roy was so helpful scheduling sightseeing tours. We thoroughly enjoyed the live music at the bar! And the location was in the heart of the French quarter so most everything was in walking distance. It was so close to perfect… The only reason we didn’t give five stars is because our room could’ve been a little bit cleaner and there was a bit of a musty smell. This won’t stop us from staying there again.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. It is very close or on Bourbon St. depending on your room. Be prepared for the noise that comes with that. As long as that doesn’t bother you, the hotel itself and location is top notch.
