Terrace Green Hotel & Spa

Pros: The staff were friendly, attentive, and pleasant. Cons: There's no elevator, but the staff helped with luggage. Overall, it was great, but unfortunately, I arrived after 11 PM and left at 8 AM, leaving me no time to explore. I should note that airport pickup is free, but if you book a pickup and wait, you'll need to pay $5, which covers the waiting time, parking, and the sign.

The hotel was decent, nothing particularly good nor bad; overall, just average.

The hotel is okay, the facilities are decent, and the restaurant downstairs seems to have a pretty high rating. It's close to the beach and fish market, and a bit far from the church. It's about 20 minutes from the airport. However, the service was very average. The driver was a full half hour late for the airport pick-up we agreed to. The $5 sign service we were supposed to pay was never used due to the driver's lateness, but they still charged us an extra $5. The room was paid by credit card on site, but the booking price was in US dollars. The exchange rate used for conversion was quite poor, significantly lower than the official rate.

It was already past 9pm when we landed in Colombo, so we found a moderate hotel near Negombo to spend the night. Take an Uber from the airport to the hotel and it will take about 20 minutes to arrive. The hotel is in a small alley, about 4 floors up, and there is no elevator. The unique environment at the beach is a bit humid, and the same is true in the room. There is a small balcony, which is quite comfortable to sit on in the morning. Breakfast is still okay, I can get used to it. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach. There are many dogs on the road, so don't mess with them.

600 yuan is the experience of more than 100 homestays in China. Maybe Lugambo is very remote, and the hotel is almost in the village. I drank water and got diarrhea! Secondly, when I made the reservation, I didn’t pay attention to the fact that it was a double bed for 1 person. There were actually two of us. When we checked in, we didn’t explain it. I knocked on the door in the middle of the night and came in and said that we could only accommodate one person. We were asked to add more than 100 people, and we communicated until the next day to check out. Room processing. Finally added $10
