The ac was working properly. After 11/2 hours we got it to working but before we left it wasn’t working again. Hard to sleep when it’s hot. Tried to get help but….

The room I booked was not available when I arrived, the tv in my room did not work for two days, there was a light bulb missing in the bathroom, and I was charged more then ******* stated the amount would be. The property is good, breakfast is good, and the staff was excellent. They will rush you out of the breakfast area when breakfast ends. The lady at the desk said they had noted the broken tv on my reservation and the manager would revue and credit me. So far I have heard nothing, nor do I expect to.

The hotel is fine, if a bit dated. However, the HVAC vent was terribly dusty, there was not one hanger in the closet, and the TV remote worked only to turn the television on/off or for volume control; there was no way to change the channel! Also, it would be nice if the curtains were able to be closed to block light. Instead, they are stationary and only sheers can be closed.

I did not get the room I booked and paid for and received a smaller room for the same price.
There was a used wash cloth in the shower when I arrived and the right side door of the TV cabinet was broken and fell off when I tried to open it.

Booked room on line but when I checked in that style room wasn’t available. No upgrade just smaller room same price. Description on line said river view but the trees obstructed the view. Check in took longer than I expected because we had booked it on line and she had to find it. People were moving up and down the halls all night so we didn’t get much sleep. Didn’t have a good night with so was ready to leave first thing in the morning. Breakfast was better because it had items other than the normal eggs and sausage. Biscuits and gravy and grits were on the buffet. Nice change. Had a nice small bar in the lobby. Friendly bartender. Had an issue with a running toilet and was fixed by a very nice maintenance man. Did not get finished until after 9pm but it was because he had several other issue to complete before ours. Don’t know if it is me or not but didn’t like the huge king size pillows. Most rooms now use the half pillows which I like much better. Average stay just need some updating. Every employee I talked to was friendly and helpful.
