Homewood Suites by Hilton Carle Place - Garden City, NY

Stayed at home wood suites and the room was very dirty when we arrived. Repairs are being done in the pool area however we received an email two weeks before our stay. I replied to the email and copied the general manager however not suki nor the general manager had the decency to reply to me. Room is dilapidated and dirty when we arrived. The dishes were not washed and the floors were dirty.ceiling has serious cracks from water damage and the furniture is very dirty. The noise from the street is unreal. The maids come into the room without knocking on the door even if you have a do not disturb sign on the door. Internet is practically non existent. For the price please forgo elsewhere this hotel administration has changed since the last time I was there really too bad.

I have been going here to visit family for 20 years. It used to be a lovely Inn with a great breakfast. Through the years it has slowly deteriorated. We still go there because it’s the ONLY hotel in the area. The rooms are “tired”, bedspreads old and t her place smells of mold. There is no longer a breakfast offered. If the owners would invest a little money in the place it would be well worth it. Since it is the only hotel for miles they could charge more money.

Hotel location is good, although the room is not big, breakfast is very monotonous, but the front desk service is very good, when arriving at the hotel is close to 10 o'clock in the evening, the front desk brothers and escorts warmly help you order pizza. The porter is also very talkative.

The hotel room is comfortable and warm, the important thing is that the clean room facilities are suitable for hair dryers and irons. The hot water is easy to use and feels good. It is recommended to use it.

I like a hotel very much. Although it can’t be compared with Marriott in China, the hotel is relatively new and the sanitation is good. The breakfast is the richest I’ve had during this trip, haha, especially their blueberry jam and apricot jam. Delicious😋, there is iced fruit water every day, of course the most important thing is that the room has a small kitchen with complete tableware for simple cooking🍳

Our visit was 9/8-9/12/2021. We arrived after 10pm sign on door read -MASK REQUIRED_ AWESOME... and were warmly greeted and quickly checked in by the 2nd shift front desk employee. The hotel lobby was small but clean. We proceeded to our room on the 1st floor. The room was very clean, the bathroom clean and stocked well with towels, soap, etc. The furniture was in great condition. the room had 2 double beds and 3 pillows on each bed. Everything was pretty good up to this point. Then I sat on the bed.. I thought I was sitting on a table! The mattresses are HARD! If you like a hard mattress great but if not you had a few nights of little sleep like I did. The housekeeping staff did good job and were always friendly. We appreciated the decent rate as other places in the area were at $200+ a night. If you want more luxury be prepared to pay it with another hotel brand. All in all ... I would return because of the reasonable rates and put up with a lack of decent sleep due to a hard mattress. The Econo lodge served its purpose for a decent price. The location was great. Close to my friends/family, parkways, restaurants, shopping mall, and great Long Island diners.
