The staff were great to work with and allowed me to checkout an hour later to accommodate my business meetings. The bathroom could use some maintenance as there was water staining on the walls but overall I enjoyed my stay.

There is only one elevator in the hotel, and I didn't use the elevator for 6 nights from check-in to check-out. The staff said that there was no way to find someone to repair it during the holidays, so they always took the stairs and there was no staff to help carry the luggage. I carried the big suitcase by myself and walked up the 4 floors of stairs. The hotel used to have a restaurant for breakfast, but now it is only open for 3 days on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Poor stay experience this time!

The customer service was subpar to say the least. A gentleman at the front desk sat there and watched me struggle with all of my bags and did not even try to hold the door or help me get the bags upstairs when I first arrived after being in traffic for 2 hours. He just did the bare minimum and checked me in. For a hotel that markets itself as a “boutique hotel”, it is anything but that. The phone in my room was broken. I had no refrigerator and that was listed as the amenities I would have. The temperature was also unbearable. The thermostat read 87° and it was only 56° outside the night I came. I was there for a business related trip and I was gone from 7 AM to 5 PM every day and not once did anybody clean the room. The house keeper decided to make an appearance when I returned in the evening, but I was too tired to go out and leave to let her clean after a long day of work meetings.

Most of this hotel is under construction and the rooms that are not under construction, are very noisy due to the work being done on rooms on the same floor. The paint was coming off most of the walls. There were floorboards that were loose. Bathrooms were tiny. This hotel, by far is not a four-star hotel. The HVAC looks like it was installed in the 1960s. They are in serious need of updating this entire hotel.
However, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I did request a new room because the one they originally put me in, was in shambles. They immediately honored that request and brought me to a different room. That was really no better than the first. if you’re looking for an inexpensive place to stay in great neck, I guess this is OK. It is located right next to the train station. Which makes it convenient if that is what you were looking for. Otherwise, I would definitely advise you to spend a little more money and stay in a better hotel.

Our bed was broken. We tried calling the front desk, no one answered. Then in the middle of the night a woman was banging on someone’s door in the hallway and started cursing loudly. Will not stay here ever again.

The breakfast is very poor, can sit only 12 people max, there is a bad odor in the bathroom, hotel needs urgent refresh and upgrade, beds not comfortable. Would not recommend.
