You can see the lake view from the balcony of the accommodation, and there is also a walking trail nearby. The room is very clean, I like the woody smell of shower gel and shampoo. The breakfast portion is just right and will not be wasted. The presentation is beautiful and delicious.

The hotel is located above the Sun Moon Lake. The view is fantastic. We booked one lake view room and one room facing the mountain. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is a bit old. The water pressure of the bathroom is very low, thus it took a long time to take a bath. The water pipe of the water basin is a bit long, it is easy to hurt your eyes if you were careless. The room lights are a bit dim while the sound of the air conditioning is quite noisy. Food varieties of breakfast is good but lack of staffs to refill the foods. You wouldn’t have much to eat if you come to breakfast lately say after 9.30am. The hotel has two car parking spaces. It is convenient and free of charge.

Have been to this property and it was an amazing stay for one night. Hotel looks are like European cottages made of wood. Rooms are also nice. Location is just 2 min walk to Swiss garden and really convenient as there is a 7eleven around and also shuttle bus stop. Cleanliness: Hotel rooms and the whole place is quite neet and clean. Service: Awesome, staff was really helpful with everything and they even allow us early checkin which was much appreciated as we were travelling with a 2 year old. Food: Nice breakfast and they even cooked some vegetarian food for lunch. Have happy hour where serve tea and snacks which will be enough for dinner. Overall this property is owned by The Old England Manor which is another best hotels in town and they maintain the same service here as well. This should be a 4 star hotel instead of 3 star.

The best part about this hotel (国民賓館) is its location. Bus 6664, 6658, 6659 all stop less than 80m from its entrance if you're using Nantou bus. It's along the main road which is easy for pickups if you're joining local day or night tours. Across the road from Little Swiss Garden. Even Cingjing Farm has signs along its walking paths directing visitors to the hotel. The other main benefit was that the room rates I paid on Trip.com included a pair of tickets to Green Green Grassland, Little Swiss Garden and a discounted ticket (only need top up 30TWD each) to the Cingjing Skywalk - pleasantly surprised to know this only at check-in although I knew beforehand that the room rates included basic Chinese breakfast for 2, which was another convenient point for guests. The hotel buildings and room was a bit dated, no aircon since the weather in the evening and morning is cooling. But the room, bed, utilensils and toilet were clean. The view from the room balcony and hotel garden was nice to view sunset.

The boss is very enthusiastic. Unfortunately, the weather was not very good when we checked in, but the scenery from the balcony is quite beautiful. Maybe because it is a log cabin, the sound insulation is not very good. You can hear the sound of the special building on the balcony, but overall It's a great experience!

Very pretty villa! Was a bit of a walk from the nearest bus stop as it is quite deep in, but the views from the villa were terrific. At night the host conducted a brief lesson about the stars in the sky and taught us how to see the Big Dipper and the North Star. Very beautiful! We were lucky that we stayed 2 nights as the first night the sky was too cloudy so there were no stars to be seen. Managed to spot them on our second night there.

A hot spring hotel with a score of 200. The view from the room is very beautiful, and there is already hot spring water in the room. You can soak in the hot spring without going to the big bath. The spring water is carbonate beauty hot spring, so there is no sulfur smell, but It is also underground natural water, with a temperature of 37-40 degrees, which is very comfortable in winter. Another point is that the customer service is very polite and helpful. On the last day, the soles of my shoes fell off, and the waiter found me all-purpose glue without saying a word. I said I could do it myself, but he still insisted on helping me. He also held the dirty toes of my shoes with his hands to ensure they were secure. When he left, he thoughtfully gave me all-purpose glue and put on gloves, which was quite considerate. The hotel has many activities to attend, so you don’t have to worry about transportation. If you want to go somewhere, the hotel can also call a taxi on your behalf. However, taxis are more expensive. It costs NT$800 to go from Ida Shao to Yunpin in 15 minutes.

And I accidentally discovered that the instant noodles sold here are cheaper than those at 7-11 >_<~~ I wanted to say that I was too lazy to run around in the middle of the night and bought them all at 7-11, but I didn’t expect that what I saw behind the counter made me want to restock! Another troublesome thing is that when parking at the door, the fruit of the tree will fall off, and there will be strange sap that cannot be washed off... Is there an easier way to clean it?
