The new hotel opened in May 2023. It has been basically debugged so far. There is no decoration smell. The room is very good and large, basically around 50 square meters. I like its independent bathroom and super large cloakroom the most. The cloakroom is an independent space with a hanging iron, a chair for changing clothes, and a shoe horn and shoe brush. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, with a large washbasin and a bathtub. You can take a bath in the bathtub while watching the scenery outside the window, with mountains and trains passing slowly, like a movie.
Disadvantages: There seems to be a problem with the drainage in the room I stayed in. Water ran out of it when I took a shower, and the entire bathroom floor was covered with water. The central air conditioner only had heating but no cooling at this time.

As a hotel industry person. The hotel is really nice. I took my children to Dragon Nest in the summer and chose a hotel nearby. The price is moderate. We have a family room with 1.8+1.2 beds and a sofa in the room. The room is spacious, with electric curtains, heated toilet, central air conditioning, soft and comfortable mattress, and wet and dry separation on the sink. A small suggestion: you can get a non-slip mat in the bathroom and a safety lock in the room. The front desk was very nice and provided free breakfast. However, we went down at 8.30 and only had rice porridge. Overall it's really good.

The breakfast is delicious, the wontons are very fragrant, and you can add any toppings to the noodles!
The room is very spacious and comfortable. At first, I was a little worried and embarrassed when I saw that the glass next to the bathtub was transparent. Later, I found that it can be atomized haha. There is a disposable toilet cover next to the toilet, and a disposable bathtub cover is also placed next to the bathtub. This must be praised
The service is particularly good. When checking in, there are staff accompanying us all the way, and they also enthusiastically remind us of the precautions for travel and takeaways; later, I wanted to heat up the packed food and they also helped us to heat it up enthusiastically. After returning at night, I found milk and New Year's greetings on the bedside, which is very heartwarming. The accommodation experience is particularly good!
The scenic spot is next door, you can see the lake from the balcony, and the bus stop is opposite, which is very convenient!
Pearl Spring tickets will be given. If you go to the scenic spot before 5 o'clock, you don't need to buy night tickets. I went to see the iron flower, which is very beautiful and I like it🥰

It is Nanjing, and it is also the story of Nanjing in Jinling. It is the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties. This time, I came to Nanjing for a trip with my family. After comparing prices, I chose to stay in Manxin. I have to say that the experience is perfect. From check-in to check-out, I can feel the attentive service and humanistic care of the hotel staff. As soon as I entered the lobby, I felt that the decoration of the Manxin brand was very stylish. There was no extra decoration, and everything was just right. The front desk lady and brother were very considerate. They prepared milk tea, fruits, and gifts for children during the May Day holiday, as well as a ring-tossing game, which was very subtle.
Because the standard rooms I booked were all on the second floor and there was no view of the river, the front desk lady also specifically said that there was a terrace on the 5th floor that could be seen, which was very considerate. The room was clean and the bathroom did not need to be plugged in to get electricity. You could just call Xiaodu directly. There were free drinks in the refrigerator, and the breakfast was also very rich. In short, it is worthwhile to come to Nanjing. When you come to Nanjing, choose Manxin and feel at home.

AAnonymous UserThe best hotel I’ve stayed in China so far! Located right beside Nanjing Railway Station and its metro station. Take Exit 11 from Nanjing Railway metro station and the hotel is right in front of it. Check in counter is located on level 2 of the building. The service by the front counter was good too! They served us with drinks while they were checking us in. We were at first given a room on level 2, but when we entered, there was a strong cigarette smell. We immediately informed the front counter, and they immediately changed our room to another room on level 3. They even help to bring our luggage up to the room. Room was big and comfortable for 3 of us. Price of this hotel was decent too. We were amazed by the clean room, and the kids playpen within the room! The playpen would be a plus point for families wtith kids but it was a great photo spot for us! The TV had screenshare functions but I had difficulties connecting my phone to the TV. Wifi connection was stable but as usual we could only use China approved apps through wifi. Opposite the hotel and on the first level of the hotel, there was a stretch of restaurants providing different types of food. There was also 2 mini marts along the stretch of restaurants. Laundry room was on level 3, beside the elevators. 2 washing machine and 2 dryers available, laundry detergent and softners are provided too. Steam iron is available in the laundry room. Laundry service was also provided, you can wash your laundry in the washing machine before heading out in the morning. Take the notepad provided by the side and leave your room number and type of washing service you need. the housekeepers will help to complete the washing and drying if needed. They also helped us to fold the clothes and left them in a laundry bag in the laundry room for us to collect when we go back at night. There was also the delivery robot there to deliver our delivered food. Overall would love return to this hotel again!
ZZiyoufeixiangdeganjuezhenhaoAfter all, Golden Wheel Courtyard is still a brand of Marriott Group.
The overall stay experience is still very comfortable, simple and clean.
Before check-in, I was fortunate to have the administrative manager Shelia contact in advance to upgrade to an executive room. The experience of the executive floor is still good. There are executive light meals and executive lounges in the evening, which are plus points!
The room is very comfortable, the bed is just the right hardness, the room space is still relatively large (forgot to take a photo), and the breakfast service is also good.
Again, a small recommendation👍
GGuest UserI booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations.
We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby.
We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed.
Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel.
This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance.
We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again.
Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed.
When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet.
Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.
RRemjous KimutaiGot a free upgrade to a premier king with a view of the river . The location, the views from the hotel, the lobby, the staff, everything was just amazing. Was celebrating my GF birthday and send a request for a mini deco and the staff delivered. The staff spoke English, check in and check out was easy. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

GGuest UserBecause I have worked in five-star hotels, I chose Swisstouches to welcome my sister who came back to visit relatives.
The hotel's room area, facilities, toiletries and bedding can meet the five-star standard. When checking in, the front desk clerk reminded us to try the Swiss-style welcome fruit tea, which was so delicious that I wanted to buy some back.
We ordered a table meal in the Berlin Hall. The private room is designed in a grand and spacious style. The Chinese food tastes very good, the breakfast is rich, the simple meals are also good, the service is meticulous, and the dining experience is very good!
The swimming pool is kept at 26 degrees, which is a bit cold, so I didn't dare to go in the water. After the bathtub in the room was filled with water, some dust floated, which dispelled the idea of using it. This is a pity.
The overall quality of this stay has been unanimously praised by my family. Although we are locals, we said we would come to Swisstouches again!
SsteelbossI am from New York and am based in Suzhou, China. I stayed at this hotel during a busy holiday and was very concerned about Nanjing traffic. This hotel has an excellent location near the university city and many theme parks, such as Nanjing Happy Valley. The level of elegance of the rooms was comparable to the now-extinct 6-star rating. You would have to see it to believe it, including the electric toilets and beveled glass doors.
However, I decided to post a comment because of the restaurant. I have been in China for 23 years and usually travel for business. Breakfast at most hotels is not good, and nothing like in Western hotels. Because of this, I drove to a fancy restaurant and wasted a ton of money on horrible food. The next day, upon checkout, I decided to eat at the in-hotel restaurant and was totally shocked to find two interconnected dining facilities, consisting of a hot pot buffet on one side and an À la carte buffet on the other. I chose the À la carte because my son saw the grilled beef kabobs and had to have it.
Here is the best part: When you enter the buffet, you get a small card you pre-charge with money. I charged RMB 300, or about $41.66. You go through the buffet, take what you want, and swipe the card for each item. You only pay for what you eat. There had to be no less than 80 items on the buffet, from vegetable dishes, soups, pasta, beef (tenderloin), rib steak, short-rib steaks, fish, shrimp, traditional noodles, eggs, omelets, various bread, fruits, and many traditional Chinese dishes. There were four of us, and we were stuffed. Ultimately, I returned the charge card and was refunded RMB 35. This means I spent RMB 265 for four people or RMB 66.25 ($9.20) per person for a spectacular buffet.
This was hands-down the best hotel experience I've had in China, for room, and dining.
I really did not like one thing. A workstation outside deals with tiles, marble, masonry, and maintenance. It does not look good, and that was my view. The laydown area uses part of the parking lot. The yard needs to be cleaned up, and the work site covered or contained in a shop. This is a major management gaff void of marketing awareness. I still rate the hotel a 5-star.

DDrew JohnThe location was excellent, and the open facilities were very good.
I understand it's a ”China thing” that prevents outdoor swimming pools from being open to the public other than July - August - but it's ridiculous and one that a 5-star hotel should change. You advertise having an indoor and outdoor pool; however, 85% of the entire year, it is closed.... so how can you say you have an outdoor pool? It's false advertising. It was 32 degrees this weekend and perfect weather for the outdoor pool, but you didn't have it open - thus, I took away two stars on facilities.
The service in the restaurant was EXCELLENT on the 45th floor, extremely good and well worth the 5stars; the front desk people also on the 1st floor incredible; however, the service in the (the indoor!!!) swimming pool was extremely average - feeling like being served from student intern vs. any 5star customer service at all. The service in the bar on the 78th floor was highly average. also, for 5star, with us having to ask for drinks and not a single smile when serving the drinks, while the 78th-floor views are breathtaking, the service was let down. Last but not least, our parents-in-law traveled with us and rang the front desk for help with the TV. They rang twice, and they were waiting for someone to help them. I have stayed at Intercontinental Hotels in other locations, and the service is always very good. While some departments at this location were good, they needed to be more balanced by the inconsistency of the other departments.
GGuest UserThis is my 3rd stayed at Novotel. Location is more than perfect. Metro and Maga shopping malls are just across the street. Foods are plenty within 500m. Room is clean and hygienic. Bed is comfortable. Price is reasonable. Will be back again.
Just to share, Previously used to use agoda and have been using for the past 15 years, averagely 5 booking yearly. But this time use Trip.com. Made a booking on 26Oct for 27Oct-4Nov to GZ, and realised made a mistake on the dates. Cancelled by mistake and realised there was a cancellation fees of 13%, amount 700CNY. Agoda claimed that the hotel refused the refund, but the money was collected by agoda instead. They lied repeatedly and pretended to assist to send email to the hotel management and kept pushing the blame to the hotel. I did another booking via trip.com and verified with the hotel. Integrity is an issue. No trust anymore. As such, start using Trip.com. In addition, trip.com give higher rewards.
PPatrickeblevinsMy wife and I are trying our best to have children but it has been very challenging. We needed a place close the hospital and decided to try Qingmu hotel because it was conveniently located and looked comfortable from the outside and had mostly positive reviews on trip.com.
As a foreigner who speaks very little mandarin I was concerned about communication with the hotel staff. But I was pleasantly surprised with how efficiently they handled this problem. We were able to chat with help of WeChat and google translate. They also knew more English than I thought they would. Soon we were very friendly and found a productive way to communicate my needs and get the best room possible. They also helped with our travel bags and provided water and a snack. I felt very happy and comfortable with their services and they made this feel like a home more than a hotel stay.
The room was very inviting and smelled freshly cleaned. The bed was very comfortable and my wife has had back pain but said that the bed was perfect for her. It was nice that they were able to store our medication in a temperature controlled fridge while we continued to work towards conception. We had a wonderful view of the city and the bathroom had essentials to aid in freshening up between sessions. The shower had hot water and a removable head and could fit two people.
We had access to a microwave oven to warm our lunch and a laundry center to catch up on our travel clothing cleaning needs.
The hotel is located close to the subway and is surrounded by many restaurants and other forms of entertainment. Staying here during the Chinese New Year you could feel the festivities all around you, with brightly colored decorations and music.
The hotel was also pleasantly decorated with flowers in our rooms as well as in the lobby.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great stay, for an even better price, my wife and I will definitely return here. I attached some photos of my stay below.
