The overall accommodation experience in Africa is indeed a bit sour 😜. JW is definitely cost-effective in Africa! Although Africa is not short of old luxury hotels (the prices are also eye-popping 🤐). But JW can definitely be called a new star in high-end hotels in Africa. The hotel building is a Gemini glass curtain wall with a modern architectural style. It is also a new landmark in Nairobi now (and we can proudly say that this hotel was built by our Chinese company)! ! ! 😁😁😁 The decoration and hardware maintain JW's consistent high standards and high taste, while also incorporating African style. The gifts with African characteristics in the handicraft sales area are also sold at a conscience price. It is said that they are carefully selected by big names in various African countries, and the price is very affordable. If you want to buy handicrafts and gifts, it is recommended to choose from JW first. I really feel that I am wasting time after visiting N legendary handicraft markets and flea markets. They are completely incomparable to JW. The most important thing is that the goods are genuine and you don’t have to worry about buying expensive or fake goods! ! ! (I always suspect that JW is worried that its guests will be cheated, so it specially helps guests to screen so many good things in advance), because the price is really touching, and I thought I heard it wrong several times, because it is cheaper than the market! ! ! The breakfast is very international and can basically meet the different tastes of guests from all over the world. It is recommended to go early, because there are really too many types, and you can’t taste them in a short time... 😅😅😅. There are several specialty restaurants from different countries for dinner, American steakhouse, Asian fusion cuisine, the dishes are excellent, and the decoration design is also very innovative! I really love the spa and the traditional Kenyan tendon massage opposite the hotel. I still can't leave after three consecutive massages... I strongly recommend to experience it. It's a rare relaxation during the journey. After the massage, you can definitely be fully revived! ! ! The Golden Key helped us customize the perfect travel route. We could have gone to Masai Mara to chase the Big Five of Africa and gallop across the vast African savannah... (childhood dream) Unfortunately, we caught up with the once-in-a-century flood in Kenya, so we didn't get on JW's handsome mecha tank 😂😂😂. Because the hotel has just opened, the linens are all new and the mattresses are very comfortable. The coffee downstairs is Kenyan coffee. After drinking it, I feel that the so-called Kenyan coffee I drank before is all made of beans? It is full of floral and fruity aroma, and it doesn't taste like coffee. Desserts must be eaten! ! ! Exquisite and delicious! Finally, a big surprise: Jacky, the manager of this hotel, is Chinese! ! ! Check in or need any assistance, just find Jacky!!! This hotel is worth the money you pay for. From the outside, it might not look nice but when you step in the story will change. The staff are nice and supportive. The room was not the best but it was good enough for a night before our safari trip. We didn't have time to use the restaurant but the coffee shop was good for evening chill-out.

I spent 4 nights at the hotel for a business event. The staff were kind and very helpful. Grace who cleans on the second floor was particularly very helpful, she made sure my room was super clean and fully stocked. The gym at the rooftop is a bit small but very helpful. There is also a swimming pool and a minibar at the rooftop. The manager, Mr Dominic was also very kind and charming and welcomed us to breakfast cheerfully. There is a tall guy who works at the reception and he was very kind and helpful when checking in. Facilities are top notch and the check-in process is smooth. Room service is available 24/7 via the intercom phones. Security is also very tight. The food is extremely tasty and the menu changes every day. They have a lot of bacon during breakfast which is a solid 10/10. The only issue I faced was the non-labeling of bidet washrooms. The hotel should label bidet washrooms for guests who prefer bidets. Otherwise my stay was super awesome.

It feels very good. The hotel has Chinese food. The hotel staff and hotel managers are very friendly and attentive. There are shopping malls near the hotel, a few minutes’ drive away, and shopping is also convenient. After staying there for a week, the hotel can rent a car and it is safe to go out. There, I ran out of money, the hotel manager was a Chinese, and he also helped to accept the domestic WeChat exchange of RMB for US dollars. It was almost a sense of seeing a fellow countryman. Very grateful for the hotel's help, very humane. Will stay there next time I go.

I was met by John Muranda at the following a meeting in the British High Commission, and was taken to the hotel in order to meet with the management. Gigiri Lion Villas is a very beautiful hotel. It is within the highly secure area of the American embassy, so not only does it give the feel of great safety for foreign visitors it is truly a very spacious and welcoming hotel. The service staff are fast and efficient in there work. Sophia was the waitress that served us with a smile and was very polite. I was shown around the hotel rooms are very spacious and well decorated with kitchenette, very large bed to stretch out in for a relaxing stay. They also have beautifully clean washroom and shower. There is a gym, a jacuzzi and steam room to enjoy if you've had a hard day to wind down. The management have truly excellent and taken a great deal of time in creative measures to make it a memorable occasion for those who visit. I fully recommend the hotel and will surely let my uk business acquaintances know to come and enjoy this luxury accommodation.

On the day I arrived - they seemed to have been facing electrical problems for past week. So lifts, doors, and electricity in rooms were not working properly. It appeared to have been resolved on the day I left. I booked because of closeness to airport and train station. They offer complimentary pick up and drop off. They were very nice to offer a late checkout until I left for the airport. Has a big gym, a nice pool and pretty good breakfast. Be aware that there is literally nothing around the hotel - so you can’t really go for a walk or just go grab something to eat.
