The four of us stayed for 4 nights in the Deluxe suite which had two large sofas, one futon in a den roughly 8x10 ft, and two single beds in a separate bedroom. Beds were very comfortable. The doorway to the den was oddly low - our six foot tall family member had to duck every time he passed through. I'd say the clearance is 5'10".
Since this is an apartment hotel, there aren't any facilities to speak of, and we didn't need any pool or room service. There was no change of bed linens or towels the entire stay, which was fine since there was a washer and dryer. The toilet was separate from the bathroom and had a bidet which was easy to figure out, but we needed Google Translate to figure out how to use the washer dryer and even the AC as everything was in Japanese.
The location is convenient - was 10 mins walk to the Sanjo Keihan subway stop and on the edge of the busy shopping and restaurant area of Gion. It is 10 mins walk to Yasaka Shrine, Chion-in temple and Shoren-in temple - all well worth visiting. Our favorite thing about the place was the Family Mart right next door - it was so convenient to grab snacks and water there.
Check out was so easy - just scan the QR code on the door and you're done. I would stay there again!
