Sherwood Inn

Having read more than a few negative reviews, I feltI had to chime in and give a different point of view. The room (Maplewood premium with fireplace) was lovely and very clean. We had a balcony on Lake Joseph that made our stay even better. Restaurant was just great, with fine, friendly service and excellent food. Most importantly, we have had many interactions with servers, cleaning staff, front desk, and management, and we found them astoundingly friendly and accommodating. I will say that the only negative we experienced was the downgrading of the breakfast from full serve to a buffet. We had visited many years ago, and the breakfast was one of the highlights . In short, I suggest you take the few negative reviews with a grain of salt.
JW Marriott the Rosseau Muskoka Resort & Spa

I bring my family twice a year, playing in the water in summer, admiring the maple in autumn, and private beach. There is a kitchen where you can cook your own food, but I have to say that the hotel’s dinner is really great, steak and salmon must be ordered!
