Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski München

We are here now. Reserved 2 rooms to accommodate 4 people, one for 3 adults, the other for 1 adult. They brought us a roll away bed for the 3rd adult and when I asked the front desk, they said they had no rooms to accommodate 3 adults with 3 proper beds. (Then why offer it as an option?). We were offered to move to a larger room, for the larger price, but would still only get the roll away bed for the 3rd adult. Accommodations…..incredibly dissatisfied. Especially for a 5 star hotel. We were ignored, not exaggerating, when we pulled up with our vehicle. While trying to parallel park to unload, 2 employees stood joking around. A colleague stopped what he was doing, interrupted them, and all but got in their face to tell them to help us! At this point I was pissed! And mind you, i was outside of the car and they had no idea i was with the car……so i was witness to it all. They were kissing the feet of the others (who were not wearing sweat pants) and legitimately IGNORED us. I was PISSED. Not because I’m stuck on myself, but because it’s so true. If you don’t LOOK a certain way, especially at this 5 star hotel, YOU WILL BE IGNORED. Don’t hate on me for my honest review. Just know that if TRUE luxury is what you’re seeking, no matter what you look like or what you drive, you may have better luck down the road. It’s not here. Best of luck and let’s hope I’m one of the few who has had to experience this.

Well, where shall I start. Basicly, it is a very good hotel. But often the details make up the exeperience. I enjoyed my stay. There are some issues I that could diminish the experience. Location: Central, close to the train station and bus station. Next shops are about 5 mins. by foot away, next good restaurant about 10 mins. In the early morning you can hear the traffic, the hotel is directly on a main road. So, if someone is sensitive to noise in the night, I cannot recommend a stay there. Cleanliness: Well.... that's an issue. I found some hair in the bathroom. An what I discovered was that apperently the cleaningstuff was to lazy to get off some dust an trash because the put it just unter the furniture that is unter the TV. Sorry, but something like this simply just should not happen! Room: I was happy with the room. It was big and my bed was soft and comfortable. I slept well. What I appreciated very much was that the holder for the bathroom towels was heated. That's pretty cool I encountered something like this the first time in a hotel. TV was OK so was the air condition. Style is typical for never hotels/business hotels. The furniture seemed a bit shabby. Service: the staff was (mostly) fantastic. I got everything I needed and I got it fast. They help you to get every information about the hotel that you need and they were very friendly. What was a bit strange is the fact that all the coworkers there were from spain. I think, one of them spoke german but everybody else english or spanish. So, they could not provide me with some information that I needed about Munich. That's the first time something like this has happened to me in a hotel. Bar: The bar is pretty cool and the drinks are good. A bit expensive but that was OK for such a hotel. Gym and spa: There is a gym and a spa but I had no time to try it. All in all I had a good experience and I would recommend the hotel.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in! Don't let the photos, high stars and several good reviews trick you, like they tricked my husband and I. Initially when we booked our room we expected a spacious and clean 1 + 1 room with a living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. But when we were at the reception, one of the staff members explained to us that we had gotten a completely different room because ”they don't give out rooms based on pictures” but rather instead have their own system of stages or levels and you don't even know which exact room you get when booking. They claim the one we booked was a tiny room that could barely fit my family of four and several luggages (we had been traveling overseas for a month). There wasn't even any space to walk between the beds or between the luggages, and I'm not exaggerating when I say I couldn't even close the door because our room was so small. The bathroom was infested with bugs on the ceiling and walls, the whole place smelled of obnoxiously strong perfume to mask the disgusting odor of meat previously cooked in the kitchen and throughout the whole ”stage”, and most bothersome of all, neither my family and I nor our luggages could fit in our small room. After explaining that we wouldn't be able to spend almost a week in this room, I spent over an hour trying to convince the people working at the reception to either give us our originally booked room or refund our money back and they said they couldn't do EITHER of them because the hotel was fully booked and since we paid online it wouldn't have been possible to give us our money back. What a scam! After a while of arguing, they finally agreed to let us stay one night in the room we paid for in the first place and refunded the rest of the money to us. My husband and I spent the rest of our day searching for a new hotel during the busiest time in Munich when every hotel was fully booked for the next few days. (In case you were wondering, we were able to find one that we loved for the rest of our vacation.) If our troubles only stopped there I wasn't going to take my time to write this review, but unfortunately the hotel staff and management had to disappoint me once again! The breakfast was not very good and the food was minimal, but more than that I felt like we were in the middle of a forest full of bees and flies, both outdoors and indoors. Not just one, but more than enough to prevent us from eating in peace. My kids kept screaming, and the jars of jam were full of bees. I informed a staff member and she brought back another jar in 5 minutes and I got some jam in time before it would be full of those bees again. If the doors of the hotel hadn't been open the whole time for them to come inside we wouldn't have had this problem. To make matters worse, my eldest daughter had been feeling sick for a few days and started feeling worse that morning, so her dad took her to get medical treatment leaving only me and my 8 year old daughter behind. Perfect location centrally near the Main Railway Station and the old city centre. Hotel staff are friendly and very pleasant. Reception staff attentitive to your needs and helpful. Breakfast staff are warm and welcoming. Tasty choice of food too. Decent rooms. Cleaned well by cleaning staff. Highly recommend. Ive been twice already this year and a third already planned.

We stayed at Hotel Condor for two nights. Location is good if your plan is to see around the city by foot. First thing that got me so disappointed was how the receptionist ( her name is Emilia- and yes, i intentionally asked for her name) so I can pinpoint how unwelcoming her whole gesture was. She could not find our booking by the info saved in my apple pay nor via my passport. I needed to point her out so you can assess and improve your customer service. Act like you are paid for your job and live up to “Herzlich Wilkommen”. Breakfast was okay. More variety can be added. Room is decently spacious. Wifi is weak. One thing I need to applaud is how they clean the room! Kudos to the cleaners! Bravo!

We had to find a hotel in Munich for 2 nights during Oktoberfest, which we did not plan to attend. Most hotels were booked even at 4 months before, and Hotel Buddy was the only one we found convenient for transport. The hotel was modern in bright yellow. The strongest strength is the location which is very conveniently in Karlsplatz with many transportation options and near to the sights. The U-bahn stop is right infront of the hotel, and also the S-bahn stop which is very convenient to go directly to the airport. However, although the hotel charged around 300 euros/night, which is understandable as all other hotels also raised their price due to the high demand, the hotel should do something that made it at least worth the price tag. Our floor was undergoing refurbishment, so we have to walk past many open rooms with construction and unclean wet floor cover. Further on, guests in opposite rooms opened their doors and were partying together. Our room was at the end and some drunken(?) guests had tried our door, mistaking it for the common bathroom. The foldable table was unable to be folded and keep on dropping down and once hurt my back. Worst of all, we just realized that the policy of the hotel is “NO HOUSEKEEPING” on the second day, luckily, we could go down to the lobby to get more clean towels as the old ones had already gone down to the floor. All of these would be acceptable should the room rate cost less than a hundred euros. Our comfort double room was a bit larger than other small room, but still very small. Long narrow sofa by the windows provided spaces to sit. The blinds had to be close as the opposite building was very close. Nespresso machine with 2 coffee and tea capsules with bland taste. Bathroom was small with few amenities, the hand soap dispenser was difficult to squeeze. A tablet in the room was for information of the hotel and sights, but was rather slow. No breakfast available on-site. But some complimentary snacks (apples, pretzels) could be grabbed from the lobby. A vending machine was also available. Staff at the lobby were quite friendly and helpful.

There is no breakfast, and if you want to eat, 9 Euro/person. The room is still very clean, the hand sanitizer and the shower gel are all pressed on the wall by the bottle, but I don’t know if it is my luck or what, the pressing head is bad, so I use the self-prepared, can not comment on the quality. . No kettle. There was a mess around, and there were a lot of Arabs. At midnight, there were people talking loudly on the street, laughing!
