I am doing my reviews a bit late; there is something surreal about this hotel. The property is the proof that perfect hotelier services exist!!! I’m so happy that I have done the best decision by always choosing Novotel Moscow City to be my home away from home while in Moscow. I come to Moscow several times per year never felt even for a day to try out some other property. From the moment I step in I felt spoiled at the highest level that world traveler guest can be, receptionists are extremely professional and welcoming, but they make sure we get best spots as well, the spread of breakfast offered was excellent. I always stay in a specific suite room which is absolutely brilliant, spacious, nice view updated to all the required needs of the guest, room service was very good with perfect meals choices and not last, SPA was very nice !!!! As always I would like to express my deepest gratitude towards Marina ( Deputy GM ) and also heartfelt thanks to Darina F&B Manager, Anastasia ( Duty manager ) , Maria ( Night Manager ) and to everyone for making our stay a fabulous one as always. Can’t wait to comeback!!!!!!. I have stayed in Novotel in 10 different countries, but (Novotel Moscow City) this is my favorite its because of the people who work here and their excellent hospitality !!

In order to watch the final, stay at 7..14-7.15 for two nights. For the viewing, this hotel is in an excellent location, 100 meters to the sport subway station, from the subway station A exit to the crossing subway station, from the B exit, to the outskirts of the Luzhniki stadium, it is so close, This is the main reason for choosing this hotel (the other location is convenient for high-quality hotels), and from the station (red line 1), 5 stations to Red Square, 3 stations to Arbat, the traffic is very convenient. The hotel hardware is too backward, too old, there is no air conditioning, the replacement is a fan. The sanitation is acceptable. Overall, this is a 1-2 star standard in the country. There are pictures with the truth.

We are participating in the 2018 Moscow Marathon, which is conveniently located near the starting point. The room is small but there is hot and cold water available in the hallway. The fried noodles and fried rice in the downstairs restaurant are good (not much weight). The subway station is nearby and there is also a supermarket. It is worth the money. Friends who are strongly recommended to participate in the marathon can consider it.

В первую очередь похвалю прекрасное расположение: от метро ”Спортивная” практически в сотне шагов, только за угол завернуть, а улочка тихая и спокойная. В пешей доступности Новодевичий монастырь (поэтому я и выбрала этот отель) и Лужники (а вот в соседнем с отелем зданием - хоспис, не самое веселое учреждение...), рядом очень много кафе, пекарен, пиццерий и прочего, есть где и перекусить, и плотно пообедать. А вот в самом отеле отношения с питанием какие-то нездоровые: при достаточной цене за номер без завтрака за этот самый завтрак просят еще по 1200 (тысяче двести) рублей с человека, хотя рядом полно мест, где за тысячу вдвоем можно отлично позавтракать (и мы так и сделали). В номере есть мини-бар, но цены тоже аховые. Приятным сюрпризом оказалось ”почти мохито” (вода с лимоном и мятой) в лимонаднике у стойки администратора, я очень люблю это сочетание, с удовольствием попила, пока оформляли заселение, и потом еще подходила, чтобы попить. Номер очень хорош, удобная постель, много разных подушек (кажется, на сайте отеля это называется ”меню подушек”). Еще в номере махровые халаты, тапочки, сейф, гладильная доска и утюг - это очень удобно. Две бутылочки с питьевой водой, чай, сахар, чайник, чайные пары и бокалы для воды. Есть холодильник, но он битком забит мини-баром, чтобы поставить что-то свое, места нет. В санузле зубные щетки, паста, шампунь и гель для душа два в одном и бальзам для волос - не одноразовые, а во флаконах, душевая кабина с тропическим душем и обычной ”лейкой”. Словом, если не считать кусачих цен за еду (что нам не помешало, мы отлично поели вне отеля), все очень понравилось.

The room and location were absolutely great. Everything was nice and clean. However, we were quite disappointed with the service and competence of some of the staff. We had a booking for 2 adults with 2 breakfasts. When we arrived, first, they couldn't find out booking, then they found the booking but said it was only for 1 person. Then suddenly they found that it was for 2 persons but that it was without breakfast, then when I started contacting Trip.com they suddenly found that it indeed was with 2 breakfasts. The next day, when we went to the breakfast, they let us in, but then the staff started chasing us in the breakfast hall saying that we hadn't paid. Then they contacted the reception and confirmed that we indeed had paid. The experience was really not appreciated.

The room I booked for the boss was a little bigger than ours, but there was not much difference overall.
