Hotels near Heron and Cormorant Rookery, Morro Bay

The Indians opened the front desk of the hotel. No one had to press the bell to check out the deposit for the same room rate (but did not tell the deposit) because I didn’t pay attention to the bill because I was late for the day because I was worried about the online prepayment. I deliberately charged me a rent, so I asked Ctrip the next day and asked if the deposit would be returned. I don’t know if I don’t ask if the hotel would be stupid because the general deposit is an integer and they are Holiday amount

Rooms were very clean. Staff were excellent very nice. Will definitely be recommending to family and friends. Close to all the shops walking distance which is nice if you like to have some drinks . The beds are very comfortable.

Booked this hotel temporarily, but it was an unexpected surprise on this journey. The hotel was a bit of an idea, but from the beginning of the reception, I felt that the owner was working very hard. 1. Parking is convenient and free. 2. Walk five minutes to the beach and one minute to the supermarket and fast food restaurant behind the hotel. 3. Each floor has a special reading area to provide local bird pictures to introduce local culture. There are also vending machines for drinks. I booked a room with a balcony. I could sit down and smoke and admire the sunset by the sea. 4. The front desk offers afternoon tea from 5 to 6 pm. Breakfast is on the third floor, the food is average, but on the terrace, you can overlook the waves and sails of the sea while breakfast, as well as the big rock. 5. I only booked one night, but found a coupon when I opened the door in the morning. It reads: Don't go so fast, give me a one-night fifty-six dollar discount and stay for another night, and enjoy the beauty and food here. If it hadn't been for my later itinerary, I would really like to stay another night and enjoy the tranquility of the town.

We were here for the annual Morro Bay Witch Paddle. Room was nice and clean with comfy chairs and lots of room to rest or get ready for event. Nice to see Rock right from our balcony. Front Desk helped us with assured parking for our vehicle with kayak and paddleboard. And also info about restaurants, etc. Very nice. Access to the strand waterway was an exra plus for us. Great time, nice place,.

We were just a night of stay. Clean and appreciable rooms have no moquette. Silent and comfortable in the centre. Maybe a little high price for the services offered, however, given the prices of the other facilities we are.

Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. There were several chairs in the room, plus a table and desk. It’s not fancy but it was comfortable for our three-day stay. Everything along the waterfront is within walking distance. There’s no breakfast but the Hungry Fisherman across the street has a good breakfast. The only negative thing was we found a previous guest’s underwear under the desk so maybe the person who vacuums could be a little more alert.

We were looking forward to an overnight stay-cation in Morro Bay and Masterpiece Hotel did not disappoint. Thought not near the water, the location was quiet and very clean. We were pleased to see extra electric outlets for charging, which is so necessary with the multiple electronic devices we carry these days. In particular, the front desk was extremely helpful with everything that we asked for. The continental breakfast also included fresh made waffles, good coffee, fresh fruit selection and yogurt. It was more than the description implied. The bed was comfortable and the towels soft. It looks like the property has been updated and made for a comfortable stay. Not luxury bet well worth the cost. Thank you to the staff and definitely recommend for the price, location and good clean hotel.

This was our first time staying in Cayucos. We didn’t realize this hotel is a “pet friendly” location until after our reservation was made. Not being pet owners, we were a bit concerned at first, but the many positive reviews we read about the hotel convinced us to give it a try. We were pleased to find how clean, comfortable and spacious our upstairs room was. It was very quiet at all times. The grounds are very well maintained, and the staff were all very courteous and helpful. Conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, nearby restaurants and the pier. We will definitely plan to stay here again on our next rip to Cayucos.
