Hotel location is very good, not far from the airport, surrounded by plaza, big supermarket, pharmacy, shopping is very convenient. Parking is convenient, we live on the first floor, there is a door directly to the parking lot, we will park the car at the back door, open the door and put the luggage directly on the car, do not carry luggage. When we go, it’s snowing, it’s important not to carry luggage! The room was clean, the double bed was oversized and there were six comfortable pillows. Breakfast is served with hot omelettes and bacon and waffle machine. In short, I am very satisfied.

The shuttle drivers at the front desk of the hotel are very friendly. The room is big, the bed is big and comfortable. Let me focus on the hotel’s airport shuttle bus (because it’s not far from the airport, taxis are unwilling to pick it up, and a few foreigners who took the shuttle bus together said they went to take a taxi first, but several cars refused ), airport hotel shuttle bus: landing is at the arrival floor, and the hotel shuttle bus is at gate 8 of the departure floor, see my first picture. Take the shuttle bus process: After picking up the luggage on the arrival floor, call the hotel and tell him that you need a shuttle bus to pick you up to the hotel. The hotel will ask you for your reservation name, how many people have luggage (the shuttle bus is small, and the space is limited), and then the hotel will Tell you to wait at Gate 8 on the departure floor, and how long it will take for the shuttle bus to arrive. This is only the second time we have stayed in this hotel. Originally we weren't supposed to stay here but Holiday Inn called and told us that during our 5 day stay they wont have hot water so because of that I had to cancel my reservation with them and decided to stay at Courtyard. I could count many things that make Marriot hotels better than Holiday Inn. First Marriot beds are I think the best amongst hotels we stayed in. Second this hotel is very new and is located in a quiet location and lastly as Marriot Gold members we get to have free wifi. All the desktop computers in the lobby are not functioning. I think they should not display them at all if it cant be used. This hotel has one of the most spacious lobbies in this part of Montreal.

Do yourself a favor and avoid booking this hotel at all costs. It seems as though they are at this again - I read some reviews during the Covid-19 pandemic that they would abruptly cancel reservations without making any arrangements for the impacted traveler. They have done this again - received an email March 21st advising me that they were going to cancel my reservation (16 days before arrival) as the hotel was closing due to ”Government Requisition”. This means that the hotel sales staff secured a more lucrative contract to rent out the entire hotel and the casualty is evidently to leave a few hundred guests high and dry. If you booked months out, rebooking at another property means that you will now be paying a lot more for a room at a nearby hotel. They have done absolutely nothing to make arrangements for the guests who had reservations cancelled - minimal effort, very poor!

I recently spent a couple nights at the Sheraton Montreal Airport (one night stays on each end of a trip) and while the stays were good overall, I would say there's a lot of opportunity for the hotel to improve. I've stayed here many times over the years, but I haven't been in a couple years. Returning this time, I felt it was a good hotel with a lot of potential. I just got the feeling there is a lack of attention to detail in a lot of areas. The first night I stayed, there was no explanation of the dining situation. The television stated the restaurant and room service was not available. When I went down to the lobby I noticed the restaurant is in fact running. I'm not sure if room service is also open and the information was outdated. The Club lounge was also closed. They do provide soft drinks and complementary sandwiches which is a decent compromise however. There is a beautiful new fitness centre, but it was initially difficult to locate. It would have been nice that its location was explained when checking in and better signage. After walking around I finally asked a cleaner for its location and eventually found it. The machines don't seem to have television or anything hooked up to them which would be a welcome addition if possible. Overall this is a good hotel with a lot of potential. It felt like things got shut down due to Covid and just never really restarted. While other hotels have made the move back to normalcy, this one still felt like it was in transition. The staff were friendly and the facilities are clean. Some of the furniture is probably due to be replaced, but again we are talking minor improvements. I would return to this hotel, I just hope to see more things back to normal and better communication. Not having room service is a big problem.

The good: room was clean, parking was free, steps away from a shopping mall with a great selection of shops and restaurants. Staff was friendly. The bad: as much as I wanted to like it, this is not up on the Sheraton standard. My first night was on the 4th floor next to the highway, the sound insulation was terrible, together with the noise from the old school air condition unit under the window (you know what I am talking about, you've seen them at model 6), I didn't sleep at all. I called at night to complain, they fully booked, so the front desk promised me to move me to a room away from the high way the next day. To their credit, they did note it down and gave me a room on the same floor, maybe 10 rooms down the hall although I had to nag a few times to get the keys to the new room. The noise from high way was better. The next day, we were away from our room for 10 hours, only to return to a room without being cleaned (no, I didn't hang the privacy please sign). I asked for clean towels only since it was already late, again, to their credit, the towels were delivered promptly. There is a Hilton across the street, and a Holiday Inn. I hate to say it being a Bonvoy member, but I may want to try those next time I am in town.

We stayed in July 2022 with my parents and small children. Excellent staff, excellent hotel, excellent perks. Nice hot breakfast, they have a gym, pool and laundry services for a small price. Close to the Oratory of St. Joseph and Old Montreal is about 20 mins away. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again in the future.

Love the whole place. Very clean and well decorated. Can tell it was newly renovated. Only tiniest of tiny issues was when they did our room the floor was unlevel and the door scraped the floor leaving marks on the floor.

Due to the flight, the front desk registered the departure time at check-in, and the car was parked at the hotel door on time. This shuttle bus is opened according to customer needs. We flew into Montreal and stayed one night at the Fairfield. We were picked up at the airport by a courtesy shuttle bus and within minutes we were at the hotel. Check in was very quick and the staff members were very efficient and friendly. Our room was very spacious and had the comforts of home. After putting our luggage in the room we went to the bar for a drink and were taken back by the price of a bottle of beer $10.00 The morning continental breakfast buffet was fantastic with lots of selections. I would highly recommend this hotel and it’s very close to the Dorval Via Train Station.

Disappointing. The hotel amenities state that there is a 24 hour free airport shuttle bus, it does not run 24 hours. We had to pay for a taxi back to the airport. There was a cold water dispenser with lemons in the lobby but it was empty. A coffee machine was provided in the room, however, of the 3 coffee pods one was used and only thin plastic cold beverage cups were provided. The room was big, shows signs of wear but the air conditioning worked well and the bed was comfortable. The area around the hotel is a typical airport hotel, not much going on.

Check-in is very fast, there is a deposit, breakfast is OK, free for children under 12, but not the same as adults, can not help themselves, can only choose one of the free breakfast menu, swimming pool, table tennis facilities are OK, children like, It’s a little bit strange about children’s breakfast. I don’t know how the hotel is arranged.
