The room was clean, there was a nice restaurant right next door which was nice and the train station was a short walk from the hotel to get to downtown Barcelona .

This ihg Holiday Inn Express is the one closer to downtown Barcelona, so there are many people bringing children here on weekends. Compared to other similar hotels, the breakfast is a little bit worse. There is a large supermarket opposite the hotel, which is convenient for shopping.

Hotel staff were extremely friendly and useful, room and bathroom were clean too. Breakfast was in included in the bill so that was great. Only downside is that the surrounding area of the hotel didn't offer much things to do, and at night around 1am, we can hear people (probbably teenagers) drinking, talking and laughing quite loudly from the window- I suspect there's a club somewhere nearby and kids were drunk. Woke up several times to this. But besides that, the hotel experience was great!
