Standish Motel

Room needs updating and paint, the room Smells a lot like stale cigarette smoke. The area looks nice and clean. And The parking lot is well lit.

For the price, this place is surprisingly well kept. Our room was very clean and had a fresh smell. It's obvious the owners care about keeping the place looking clean. The bathroom was clean and stocked with hygiene products. The bedding was clean and everything in our room was working. We stayed in November so the room air-conditioning was disabled and the heat source are radiant wall heat which leaves no way to circulate air. The room was warm, but if you want circulating air, bring a fan. Plus the radiant heat caused a banging as the metal heated and cooled which woke me a few times. Also, the beds are extra firm. My son liked that. But i prefer a softer matress but if you like a super firm matress you’ll be happy. The lack of aìr movement and super firm mattresses were the only thing preventing me from giving an overall 5 stars.

Right in town. Gives you a lot of options for food. Everything is only a 5 minute drive, or you could walk to some.

Very nice staff. Room was very clean. Could of used more plug outlets but that’s minor. Would stay again.

Very clean, and good smelling. They did not have your reservation, but took my price from my email. Easy check in...

Quiet motel with nice management. Walking distance to a convenience store

Good location, easy to find. Lady in office during check-in and check-out was very pleasant. Room was clean, but had a sewer smell that was drawn into the room when bathroom fan would run. Smell seemed to come from behind a locked door that could possibly open to a closet behind the shower....? We sprayed febreeze to counteract the bad smell.

A nice older property that is well maintained. It was quiet, lots of restaurants close by.

Very nice hotel. We liked the exterior doors. Check in was fast and friendly. We will definitely stay there again.
