The hotel staff was incredible! I booked 14 rooms for my team and they made us feel really special. Little things like the welcome sign and bars made us truly feel welcome. I cannot recommend this place enough! I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed there for 8 days. Overall, it was fine but one of the overnight managers was rude, inp, and passive aggressive. The Good: Decent rooms but small than I expected. Iā€™ve been in Residence Inns in New York City with rooms that are the same size as those in Minneapolis. Parking lot is convenient and reasonably priced. Also, our room had 2 Queen beds and a full kitchen. The Bad: WThe night we checked in, we noticed that the oven was on - no idea how long that was on. Also, the stove-oven looked like it was out of the 70ā€™s. I refused to touch. The Ugly: Daily housekeeping. The front desk staff is not on the same page and was not transparent. Instead of the details, the takeaway is the front desk established the wrong expectations - daily housekeeping. I complained repeatedly when those expectations were not met. Each time I complained, I got an apology but no one corrected the expectations by saying we donā€™t have the staff for daily housekeeping. If I heard that, I would have had very different expectations. In the last month, Iā€™ve been in two other hotels that were crystal clear with housekeeping expectations- itā€™s not that hard. In any event, this lead to the overnight manager loudly complaining to a staff membe about ā€œsome guy constantly complaining about housekeeping. Someone should tell him we donā€™t have the staff.ā€ It was rude, unprofessional, and he should have had the courage and consideration to address me directly. I donā€™t recommend staying here.

Visited Minneapolis for a wedding. The Renaissance was mostly average, with nothing extraordinarily good or bad to say about it. If anything we thought the room was a bit dark and the bathroom was a bit small. On the other hand the location was very good, walking distance from the River Walk and from many restaurants and shops in the Downtown Area, although it didn't feel very safe to be walking around. The bed was comfortable and the hotel felt safe. We spent some time in the Lobby Bar after checking-out, it was cozy and the staff was friendly.

Very spacious and modern rooms, very cool design of public areas and rooms! Unfortunately, we had some difficulties communication with the hotel twice. First, we wanted to learn more about parking and hotel put us on 10 minutes hold and after that they did not pick up the call for more than an hour! Maybe they are busy, but still leaves an impression. Secondly, we called at the reception to ask about the places open for a beer or wine and they simply hang up on us twice. Moreover, there was something with the lock- we could not leave the room without asking for help outside. Iā€™m glad we were not in the rush in the morning. Not sure why is that so haha! Generally great area in the city center and pretty design!

My son and I stayed here for 6 nights 7/2-7/8 for a national fencing tournament at the convention center. Agatha at the front desk was stellar. She was welcoming and could not have been more helpful. Also, Adam in the Living Room bar (lobby bar) was very good too. He knew my drink, remembered my name and was good with conversation. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful. W does a great job with interior design and this hotel is the perfect mix of original Art Deco design and modern interior. Common areas are sleek, and lighting is interesting. I did not like the lack of good lighting in the elevator, as I always had to use my phone to light up the floor numbers. We stayed on the 16th floor in a 2-queen room. The room was very clean, small, and there is minimal storage, Beds and linens are comfortable. If you are staying for more than a couple days and want to unpack, there is only a small, 2 drawer unit that does not hold much. The bathroom is large and well appointed, and the bath products smell amazing. My issue is the rain shower mounted overhead, rather than a wall mounted shower head. As a woman who does not wash her hair every day, I struggled to keep my hair dry and had to do the in and out dance as the water fell from above. My son did not like it either. This type of shower is not as satisfying as a wall mounted shower head that blasts you. I also wish that the room had a regular coffee maker rather than an espresso machine. with tiny cups. There is free coffee in the lobby, but who wants to go down 16 floors for a cup of coffee, and have to return to your room? There is a diner called Keys, attached to the hotel that is really good for breakfast and lunch. The observation deck at the top of the building is great too. I had drinks with friends in the lobby bar, the Living Room, and we all enjoyed the cool, comfortable space and good service. Interestingly enough, we got to watch a pimp with 2 ladies of the evening do business with a man sitting at the bar. This very intoxicated, elderly man left arm in arm with 2 young, scantily clad 'ladies'. No one who worked there seemed at all concerned, or for that matter surprised. Overall, I liked this hotel, I liked the staff, but the room fell a little short for me on size, functionality and that silly rain shower.

DO NOT STAY HERE. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE BY HOTEL MANAGEMENT. BEWARE OF ATTACHED MARRIOTT PARKINGā€ PARKING GARAGE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING SOMEWHERE ELSE. Stayed here the past week with my Nephew celebrating his high school graduation. We had a fantastic time in the city and were a quick walking distance to Target Field and the Target Center. The Twins were in town all week so we attended three of their games. We also went to the Vikings preseason game vs the Raiders, which was also within walking distance. Tonight we went to the Lynx game at the Target Center vs the Mystics. BEWARE if parking in the attached parking garage! The one plastered with all the signs that say ā€œMarriott Parking.ā€ Apparently they arenā€™t affiliated with the garage. I was told tonight by the manager that their contract ended 4 months ago. I guess that is not enough time for the garage OR the Marriott to take down all of the signs saying ā€œMarriott Parking.ā€ I guess it also isnā€™t enough time for the Marriott to train their front desk staff on the fact that they should no longer instruct guests to park there anymore since the contract for the affiliation no longer exists. I canā€™t help but feel like it's a flat out lie. If your affiliation with another business ended FOUR MONTHS ago, then either party would have ensured by now that all signs advertising the affiliation would be taken down. I have been grossly overcharged multiple times during our stay for parking in the attached garage. The Marriott manager wants no part of helping me, accepts no responsibility for me being told to park there, and offered absolutely no assistance in helping me contact the garage or secure a refund for the overcharges. The front desk attendant I first spoke to about it called ā€œthe managerā€ who was allegedly in his car driving on his way home. He made some incorrect statements to ā€œthe managerā€ and neglected to correct himself when I pointed out what he said was not correct. When the call ended I asked for the manager's business card. The front desk attendant went ā€œout backā€ to get one for me and came back with ā€œthe manager.ā€ When I asked if this was the manager that was just on the phone driving home, I was informed this was a ā€œdifferentā€ manager. Why in the world would he have called a manager who wasnā€™t working when there was a manager on duty and IN the hotel? Why was this on duty manager not the one contacted in the first place? I definitely feel like there was some shady business being pulled. I've never had a situation handled like this at a hotel before. So just beware that even though there are about 20 signs in the garage that say ā€œMarriott Parkingā€, and the front desk staff may tell you to park in the attached garage, that is NOT actually Marriott Parking and if you get overcharged or have any issues in or with the garage labeled as ā€œMarriott Parkingā€, Marriott will give you the brush off and NOT assist you with said issue. The only effort the manager will make to he

We stayed at this property after the recent rebranding from Loews. It was a great hotel, the rooms were great, the restaurant for breakfast was good. We picked it due to its proximity tonTarget Field, which is amazing. I'm a diamond member with Hilton, and the room was reserved under my name. I also drove my car to the property, yet the valet guy wouldn't speak to me. He instead had to go the the passenger side to speak to my husband, who I had to give the keys to, he had to give my name, and the valet had to park MY car. The misogyny is ridiculous, and I did confront the man. He never apologized, he just nodded and smiled. It really left a bad taste and I'm disappointed in the stay and the staff they employ in valet. I'll definitely self park somewhere or pick another property in the future.

The areaā€™s good in the morning but a bit of a walk to the busier part of downtown so may not be as safe to walk around. The room is huge!!! However, itā€™s not clean! There were a bit if hair in the bathroom, coffee pod left in the coffee maker, and my feet got itchy when I walked bare feet, their carpet looked unclean. But just had to stay overnight for a concert and it was the cheapest option near the concert place so I was fine.

GGuest UserWe stayed at the Four a Seasons for a quick weekend. They emailed in advance of our stay to see if we needed a car service, dinner reservations, and to gather other preferences. Everything was exquisite from start to finish. This is a brand new Four Seasons (and my new favorite)! A spa treatment is a mustā€”I booked a massage with Lindsey and it was the best massage Iā€™ve ever had! The only (small) minus is that the co-ed hot tub was in the same area as the indoor pool. So there are children in the area (with all that entails). But there is also. Hot tub, sauna, etc within the gendered locker rooms that are kid free, so plenty of alternative options.

HHeatherAbsolutely wonderful. I am super picky and my friends all stayed at other hotels in for a wedding. I was last minute and didnā€™t like what I had seen in the other hotels my friends were at so I walked down to check out this one and I was so happy I did! Love love love it. Clean and cozy and felt like an adults on the interior furnishings. Other hotels have cheap furniture and feel like dorm rooms. I was really have with this choice all the way around!!! I will definitely be back and canā€™t wait for their new spa to open!! Staff was great too and hotel was decorated lovely for Christmas! Great price also!

GGuest UserHilton Honors member. Stayed here 3 nights late Sept 2022. Even tho' my Hilton profile requests a lower floor, they put me on 12 - the top floor. It was 66 degrees when I got in. Cranked the thermostat and went to dinner. Came back, its still 66 degrees. Front desk sends up a guy to check the vents, etc., and tells me they just switched the heat on for the season and it takes awhile for the heat to get up to 12. OK, so how about a space heater?ā€ Oh no, that's against the rulesā€. Whether that's a code violation I've no idea. But he was willing to get me some more blankets! I said, You must be kidding. How about a lower room, maybe the heat could reach that sooner. So I was moved to 5th floor. 3 days later with thermostat set for 90 degrees, it never got above 69 degrees. At night, it goes down to 67/68 degrees. If I wasn't on the company dime I would've left right then. You have to schedule housekeeping a day in advance, but of course they never showed up, even tho' I was out all day and had to work when I came back (and complained) while the maid did her thing. So basically they cannot control the temperature and can't figure out how to schedule room cleaning. If that doesn't bother you, this is just where you'd want to spend $$ ... Me? Not so much.

KKimbrellI had to book a last-minute hotel due to a flight delay. This one was more budget friendly than the other options. It also had a free shuttle bus (that I believe runs 1 per hour). The hotel is a bit run down and older as you would expect from the price but the bed was comfortable, room was clean and the check-in staff was nice.
